Wolf needs to be on the phones with all wr needy teams trying to unload Juju. Even if it’s juju and a late rounder for a pick a round higher. Roll with the youth movement.
Do you think a team will take on JJSS's contract? I think the whole league knows he is toast. Meyers mentioned it last year in an interview. I am guessing the Pats will have to release him and eat this year's money.
The Pats would have to do an NBA style trade as there is no benefit of another team taking on that contract with his "exploding knees." Pats would have to give up more in return just to get rid of him. If Polk, Baker and Thornton look good, they'll have to do that to free up a roster spot.

…The ideal trade partner would be a team with playoff ambitions that is near the cap with a desperate need at WR. …
Those two seem an unlikely combination. Especially during preseason.

Admittedly the probability is low, nearing zero of the results on the field don't get better. There are two situations that may create opportunity. I definitely don't hope someone gets injured. Unfortunately they happen and would cause a team to take action. The other is a team looking at him as a depth piece that fits a niche in their offense.

If I had to bet, I would guess that he gets released. He has had long enough to heal and still looks limited. Like him or not, he has been productive for most of his career. I understand the fake it to make it part of getting the contract, how the player dealt with things seem a little weird if he had a severe injury. His public persona suggests that he isn't the kind of person who was as committed to recovery as he could have been. It is getting to being sad. Hopefully he can figure it out.

I wonder if he might retire, especially if he’s going to get cut with a likelihood of no interest. Of course for him it would be best to wait and sit home and cash all the checks before officially retiring.

The Pats & Judon are in an awkward position: he feels that his next contract is his last best chance for another multi-year payday, while the Pats appear to be thinking more on a year-by-year basis... A compromise solution could be a fully-guaranteed 2024 & a partially-guaranteed 2025 with incentives based on makeable, previously-attained #s that could trigger guarantees for '26...

Let's have Baker wear Juju's jersey for a day. Those reporters will never notice. They'll be tweeting all about how Juju looks rejuvenated with stronger knees than ever and making all kinds of crazy catches. Other teams will read it and eat the whole thing. Phone rings. Cha chin.

That seems like quite a team friendly compromise. Lol
