I will not officially rule him out of the game yet....but it sure looks like he is going the way of Peyton.....just looks slow and old....but doesn’t help that HOF Coach BB has provided him with the WORST OL IN BRADYS TIME HERE....And the fewest O weapons as well.....oh and by the way even tho they have somehow kept Pats IN a bunch of games....the D overall is a steaming pile too.....Not Pats year and feel like this is the last season for Brady and BB....tough way to go out
The embarrassing last drive aside I think our DL did an ok job today.. Gilmore had a bad day but the rest of the DBs were ok.
Hightower and Flowers probably were the only players to have decent days on defense.
Got some flashes from Edelman and Gordon but this penchant Brady has for zeroing in on certain players seems to have come back today and I hate it. Maybe Hogan is actually doing better than it looks and Brady just isn't looking his way.
Disappointing but 7-3 is fine considering the 1-2 start.
I’m so tired of the “Brady’s circle of trust” narrative. I remember the strength for YEARS was Brady’s ability to spread the ball around and take whatever the defense gave him. Now it seems as if he goes through two reads and just throws it away, or just shoves the ball in there. It’s concerning. The drop in Brady’s play this season has seemed more mental than physical IMO. I mean....I honestly can’t recall Brady throwing the ball with such terrible mechanics in previous seasons as he had this year.
He did this same thing in 2013 when he hated his WR group. He needed to get his ass kicked in 2014 to be pushed out of his comfort zone.
And yeah Brady’s issues this year are mental. He’s giving up on plays too early and doing a crap job outside his first progression. He’s also forcing stupid balls to guys he trusts and underthrowing or overthrowing wide open guys with no pressure
