Jimmy G over 380 yards today (week 15)

Jags and Rams next ... Let's see what he can do ...
That reminds me a lot like RGIII season.
1. Teams are not used to play against him.
2. 49rs Played against 3 bad teams.

Bryan Hoyer team was able to put 39 points on this Rams team ... Let's see what JG can do...
I like Jimmy but you are correct. This is where he will get tested.

49ers fans/ organization:

“Hey Jimmy! Stop playing so damn well, you’re screwing up our draft status!!!! “:D

Considering they were the team willing to part with only a second rounder for a guy who looked like a winner, I'd say they come out looking pretty smart.

If they aren't smart, why didn't 1/2 the league come offering a high 2nd rounder or low 1st rounder for Jimmy? I would have thought teams like Chicago, Arizona, and the New York Giants would have offered any pick to get a guy who could quickly turn things around.

I doubt the move was calculated. It’s more likely that the Krafts made it clear that Brady was not to be traded.

Matt Cassel threw for over 380 yards twice with the Patriots.

Just saying.

Key There is WITH THE PATRIOTS

Jimmy is doing it with an awful roster And for a ****ty franchise

Cassel did it for a non playoff team.

And like Cassel, JG isn't exactly beating the top teams in the league. And Cassel showed he wasn't good enough to beat the few good teams he did play.

Either way - after the Pats select a new QB I doubt there will be a lot of people wishing JG was still here. I've seen nothing to date from him to make me think otherwise.

Great for Jimmy. Its too bad the Patriots are so good that noone really wants to trade with them on such a grand scale for fear of looking foolish. If Pats were a middle of the pack team they probably would of gotten the 1st and maybe more. But they aren't so all you can really do is move on and enjoy what you have.
Another AFC East crown and another shot at a ring.

Yeah, you keep telling yourself that. Lmao

Comparing the 08 patriots to this niners team is hilarious. God forbid you admit it’s possible B.B. finally got rid of a player who’s actually really good, right? No way he could be wrong!

Well if you ever read my past posts on this topic I was never on board with the JG as a future NFL superstar talk, and the fact the Patriots chose a 40 year old QB with Father Time gaining on him, rather than sticking with JG - is telling that the team feels the same way.

He failed to give the Patriots the 4 games they needed from him and he wasn't nearly as - and I quote - "amazing" in those 6 quarters...yes people actually thought he was "amazing" when in fact he was quite a few notches below that...as people wanted to believe. I still have the same questions about him now as I did then.

I could be wrong and so could Belichick - but there's no evidence to date that we are. Perhaps these next two games against better teams will convince me otherwise.

Either way, the Pats made the right decision and if they had another opportunity they would do the same thing without hesitation. As they should.

Also - the 08 Patriots weren't very good either. They missed the playoffs despite one of the easiest schedules you'll ever see. And Cassel did well against this easy schedule, as is JG doing against similarly easy competition.

Its even more likely BB made the decision not Kraft.

Yes because BB "just got rid of him" to just get rid of him and diddnt try at all to keep him as long as possible and look at things such as cap future implications and what actually might be good for JG in terms of maybe JG coming back some day.

I know trolls are fake fans are getting desperate as the Pats keep winning but its sad to see to what level the trolls and fake fans will go to create a "situation," that was never there to begin with, to fit their narrative.

The way trolls and fake fans whine about the same things over and over, without being able to appreciate what we have now, nor what current players have done over the past many years, shows a lot about the character of these trolls and fake fans.

Only losers act this way. Winners keep winning losers chase the "what could have been" crap.

Yeah, I’m a troll because I think Jimmy is really good and the QB situation with him and a 40 year old was worthy of discussion.

TROLLLLLLLLLLLLL

Yeah, I’m a troll

Yes

because I think Jimmy is really good

You are a troll for other reasons. But regardless of that, everyone here thinks JG is really good. Just like everyone here thought, Lawyer Milloy, Drew Bledsoe and Richard Seymour were really good.

What does JG being really good have to do with posters continually bringing it up over and over again. We all agree, he is good. He is gone. What discussions are there to have now other than making up fake narratives that "BB got rid of him" to stir up ****.

and the QB situation with him and a 40 year old was worthy of discussion.

TROLLLLLLLLLLLLL

Its been discussed, ad nauseaum. Everyone is in agreement. JG has great potential and is a good guy and "Could" be a franchise star QB. But too bad, the NFL is structured so that you cant keep everyone.

You wont be a troll here when you grow the fuk up and discuss things in an adult way. Proclaiming BB "got rid of him" isnt a positive contribution here. Its a **** stirring tactic used by someone who is either intentionally **** stirring or just stupid.

Which is it?

It shows you that Belichick has a good eye for evaluating talent. Probably has a good team of evaporators around him too. They recognized his quick release and took Jimmy before others.

Cassel did it with a playoff team. They were a playoff team before and after him. The team didn't make the playoffs because of him.

Good luck to Jimmy. The team can't pay two franchise QBs and I doubt that was an option. Jimmy has to agree to whither his youth away on a bench which he probably would rather move on.

Even if he turns out to be really good he won't be Brady good.

Aaron Rodgers is really good and has 1 ring. Steve young, same story. Super Bowls are hard to win. You don't let the guy with 5 SBs walk at the top of his game for a chance, because chances are even if he's real good he's not close to the greatest of all time.
