Sheard signed with Indy within hours of the start of FA for $25M. I don't recall that he even had contact with another team.

Ealy was let go by the team that drafted him early

Ealy was drafted near the end of the 2nd-round, 23 spots after Sheard was. So how was Ealy "drafted early"?

just to move up 8 spots in the draft.

Carolina still has several talented DEs on their roster. They moved up 8 spots to select a top OG - something they did NOT have and sorely needed.

"limited"? ... again comparable stats to Sheard the past two seasons
"for years"? ... Ealy has only played three years total, putting up stats comparable to Sheard's in just his 2nd and 3rd seasons.

He said that before Hightower re-signed with NE both the Jets and Steelers pulled their offers off the table after giving him a physical exam. Anyone else remember hearing or reading about that, because I don't.

Id guess JJ at CB #3 is becoming a reality. Rowe, Harmon rotational/situational.
Cyrus has a mountain to climb..

Harmon is basically a starter. Both he and Dmac can cover like cbs. He'll get a lot more snaps than Rowe. That's what makes this secondary so exciting this year: when they go big nickel,they can cover anything-inside,outside,tes,rbs and the run game.

I have no problem with James White love. However I think because he is the shiny new star of the day, people have unjustly diminished Lewis's ability and capability to produce at a high level here.

Now, as I said earlier you could argue that because of the emergence of White and the additions of Gillislee, Burkhead and depending on how well Foster does in TC and preseason, DLew- while still valuable to the team, could be expendable and moved via trade.

For multiple reasons, I think that would be a big mistake.

Lewis a lock. He is handsdown the best Patriots rb.

As Ivan Fears has said, there's no one else on the roster(and few in the entire NFL), who brings that level of explosiveness.

Unfortunately, he's also been been hurt. So I'd expect BB will be careful with his #of snaps this year- not hard, considering the multitude of offensive weapons the Pats have.

But make no mistake -hes the best Pats rb and is a stone cold lock. Anyone saying otherwise is talking out their arse.

Here is the Carr catch. Damn good.

When I was playing sport at a high level. This is a killer.. in two ways, physically and mentally. Shows who has the skill to excute when their is something on the line and it also at times shows who wants to win more at times.
