Two thoughts on the Patriots' left-tackle competition: Trent Brown has been the top option through six practices, and on Wednesday, o-line coach Dante Scarnecchia was all over him for a false start, pulling him out of a drill in place of Isaiah Wynn. It was a good example of how Scarnecchia is locked on the details to get the most out of his players, setting a clear standard. Meanwhile, I watched Wynn's exemplary footwork and fundamentals in 1-on-1 drills as he stonewalled veteran DE Adrian Clayborn.
