Who Else is Excited for the NFL Draft?

Always exciting. Im even ok with a trade down if the value is right. From what im hearing though theres a pretty popular feel of a considerable drop off after the first 15 or so picks and #21 may not be a popular spot. Could be a bunch of smoke though too.

21 will be a popular spot depending on who is available. But yeah, the difference between 21 and 50 talent wise at some of the positions seems equal. Excluding CB, LT. DLine where it tapers off pretty quickly.

My memory sucks, but this seems to be one of the deepest drafts I can remember.. lots of quality players available in our need positions.

Just got back from Vegas. The Las Vegas Strip closed down last night at 10pm for preparation and will be closed down to traffic for the next 3 days. The stage sitting in the Bellagio "lake" looks pretty cool. It should be pretty entertaining for TV if they produce it right.

As far as tonight, this bears repeating,

Get Used to Disappointment

Actually I am rather excited by the prospects tonight and tomorrrow, but the Draft Hangover is hard to take; next week there will be all sorts of inane draft analysis postings. Most of the media will say how great the Patriots did as they did after the 2019 draft and most of the posters here will be upset that the Patriots did not take their favorite big WR binky. And I will be upset if they do take a big, lumbering (in my opinion) WR, ha.

I enjoy the draft, but I haven't paid attention to much of the hoopla leading up to the draft and haven't watched college ball since my teenage daughter was born, so for me it's like going to a movie without knowing anything about it in advance.
I once watched Boogie Nights on a whim while at the local mall with my girlfriend (now wife) and my overly religious mother. I'm hoping that the Pats' draft is as good as Boogie Nights and not as bad as the experience of watching it with your mom.

Come on devin Lloyd.. please fall to us

So what will be some of the Las Vegas elements in this year's draft? How about if 2 Vegas showgirls escort the picks to the podium?

Less than 2 hours away. I can't wait to see the Jets mess their pick up. It really doesn't matter who they take, he will not be effective enough in NY.

And how will my Avatar do tonight? Will his eyes light up when it's his turn to pick? This is a big night for him.

If Jets work out a Deebo Samuel trade would that count as messing up?

I am a die hard when it comes to the draft. Getting ready for my Draft party that I haven't had since the Pandemic started. Here is my draft board and team needs! The stars on players I would want the Pats to draft.

My new daughter, born yesterday (8lb. 10oz. future pulling guard), has a preemptive message for the Captain and the rest of the fellowship of the miserable. View attachment 42631
CONGRATULATIONS!!!! These will be the GREATEST days of your life!!!! ENJOY every minute!!!!!

Oh no doubt they'll need to trade up. But it'll be well worth it. Offense isn't going to miss a beat without Hill.

There's also plenty of Dline and back end D players to get out of this draft too. Stacked.

Will likely be the #1 SB favorites again.
Honestly I think that chiefs O will take a big step back without Hill…..I hate the little bastard but he is phenomenal talent and primary reason for their unreal offensive production…very hard to replace that guy
