DRAFT DAY DISCUSSION 2026 NFL Draft: Day 1

Was Ty Simpson worth the #2 overall pick though? I haven't paid attention to early QB prospects simply because we don't need one.
The 2027 draft has a bunch of better QBs. I assume the JETs are planning another high pick in 2027 and go for a QB. Not a bad strategy getting the QB in Y2 of their rebuild.

I am surprised but I think there are some Edge rushers , WR's and TE's that could help the Patriots. Edges like Cashius Howell, Zion Young or T Parker probably won't fall to #63 but could they fall enough so the Pats could afford to trade up a few spots to get one.

I'm in the same boat, there is enough good Edges left that we should be able to land one in rd 2 or 3, prefer rd 2.
The question is how our staff have these guys rated.
Do they have Parker/Young/Howell rated that much higher than Jacas/DDS?
Is 63 too high for DDS (I don't think it is)?
I would leave TE to rd 3/4.
