It is hard to believe that the Patriots training camp started over a month ago. Since then, players have come and gone as injuries and missed time have jockeyed the positioning of players on the 53 man roster.
The time has flown by; now the team has two preseason games under their belt and just two more remain before the games count for real. Changes keep occurring at the bottom end of the roster, not surprisingly as the inevitable injuries occur and some players’ performances rise and fall.
Bill Belichick will have some intriguing decisions to make on September 1 when the cutdown to 75 players rolls around…even more so once the final 53 man roster must be selected just a few days after that.
Just a reminder, the final 53 man roster we see at the end of preseason, will undoubtedly differ from the roster we’ll see at the end of the regular season. These things always tend to change during the season.
Here is our 53-Man Roster Projection 4.0
