Week 7 TNF Raiders-Chiefs

Rule question; how come they kept playing after the clock went to zero because of penalties, while the Ravens were able to use holding penalties to run off the clock in that Bangles game from a year or two ago?

Link to the Ravens penalty:

Because that rule (untimed down) only counts if the penalty is on the defense, a punt is still considered to be offense (because you start with the ball).

BTW, I have no idea where the Chiefs got the idea that they could hold in the secondary on every play and get away with it.

There is no doubt that went through.

It was no different than rich Karelis' afc championship field goal or Justin Tucker's game winning field goal in 2012 against New England

In both cases, fans cried it was a missed kick

See for yourself

Borderline miss

In what universe is this a borderline miss ? You are aware of the angle of the tv camera as all of this happens, right ?

Just pause it while it is flying in.. it is never close.

It isn't even remotely similar. There is a world of difference between between what you are seeing and what you think you're seeing.
