Tomlin is a joke

The media talked about changing the rule after the dez play and every other big game that it came up in.
Yup.
And now, watch it actually happen.

There's been debate (within the league) over this for years.
I think they should just leave it alone.
And, you are probably right, it will not change.

But, damn, it's hard not to imagine happening.

And I'm not just a paranoid, whiner.

You mention tuck rule, ineligible receiver, filming signals,.... the first response you get is .....
'The Patriots". .. "cheaters"... "league darlings'.... Change, Change!!

It is what it is.

Is he really questioning how a timeout is granted to a player? Does he honestly not know all timeouts don't have to originate from the bench?

I couldn’t believe his idiocy when I heard it.

I remember the rule used to be that only players on the field could call time out. Any player could do it, but it had to be a player. Then they added the rule that the HC could call a time out, but they sure as hell didn’t change it to *only* the HC.

Can you imagine if it was the Patriots TD that the refs picked up the flag in for having men illegally down field? The replay clearly showed the penalty, the flag was thrown but picked up for some reason. If this was a Patriots TD the world would be on fire.

Honestly Tomlin is a good coach. He did have some good players over the years to help him.

But at the same time BB would never allow a player to throw their coaches under the bus. In that aspect I think Tomlin fails when it keeps down to keep his players in check.

I think the fake spike was the right call. BUT it looked like they'd never practiced it before.
All Big Ben had to do was spike it or throw it away when only one guy ran a pattern and was quadruple covered. He couldn't make that decision with the game on the line and seconds ticking away. Meanwhile, his coaches were busy overruling each other on the sideline. What a bunch of maroons.

The disparity between Bill Belichick and all the rest (allegedly the best of the rest) is never more obvious that it is here. BB has been and is the smartest football guy in the room..

Hearing from Rowe and Harmon how they were ready for the fake spike once again confirms it..

Tomlin honestly doesn’t look like he does any coaching on the sidelines so that he didn’t know this doesn’t come as a surprise. Either that or he DID want a timeout and is just coming up with an excuse after the fact. So he’s either full of **** or he’s inept. Either way, the 3 point difference in score at the end of the game is PURELY the difference in coaching between the two squads.

Right. It looked like total sandlot football

Yep, and Tomlin was able to con someone that he is worth that kind of dough. As I was saying.....
I think they play hard for him and overall he gets players in the right spot for success but in terms of strategy, game management and attention to detail he is clearly below average.

Actually he has to be lying. He says he questioned the ref why he would grant a timeout call by the QB.
If he actually did that he would have been educated on the rule and then not said this in a press conference to sound ignorant.

Tomlin is worse than a cheerleader, as Bradshaw accused. He's a total ****ing idiot. And as bad as it was to see Ben throw his OC/HC under the bus, I could absolutely see a scenario where Tomlin spent weeks jerking off over beating the Patriots, got there, then lost his mind with the chance to win the game and went full ******.

I think Ben also said he did not want a time out but it was called by the ref by accident. The refs are the biggest joke so I don't doubt this.

He was FURIOUSLY signaling for a time out. Maybe he didn’t want a timeout, by Monday.
