Although the Chiefs are the team to beat. It is week 1. Are we going to do the "Let's just give X team the Lombardi" in week 1 for them to not even make the playoffs in January? Week 1 is an abberation. Hell, the first month can be deceptive.

Look at last year. The Pats' defense looked like an all time defense on par with the Bears of 1985 during the first half of the season last year. They ended up being a very good defense, but not even close to an all time great.

I found it to be enough for the first 45 minutes of pandering and commercials. I couldn’t care less if they show the anthem or not. I don’t watch football for political hot takes.

Both offenses off to start the game. Even if you didn’t know the preseason was canceled and teams barely practiced in pads, you could probably figure it out by watching these offenses early on.
