I'll admit it: I wasn't a fan of Jones because I thought he is too uncoordinated, and the 4.8 scared me off a bit. He plays high, and has no experience in coverage. I preferred several other players because I thought they were easier to project into the NE scheme.

That said, he had the best combination of size, change of direction, and jumping ability of the defensive ends in the draft. In terms of body type, he is McGinest all over again.
