I like Hunter as well. Largely because of the bang for your buck. Two positions being played at a high level. Incredible value.
Maybe he's Ohtani but I think he's more of a starting CB in the pros with a small gimmick role as WR. But I still think based on info today he's the pick right now (I'm not a draft guy).

If not Hunter, Id attempt to trade down a couple of times and stack the 26 draft and maybe aim for bookend tackles.

I can't ****in believe it. English is not my first language but still understand difference between step, tap, drag... and it looks like some of you don't.

Toe tap is exactly this... tap, touch the ground and lift the toe. In this case, if Polk lift his foot of the ground before landed on heel or but, it will be toe tap and catch.
If he dragged his toe out of the bounce before his heel hit the ground... it will be toe drag and catch.
In all other cases, and this was yesterday, we are talking about normal step motion, and that means if any part of the foot is out of the bounce, it will be not be catch.
This should be really simple to understand, I guess.

And, this was from last year, exactly same situation

The difference is every piece of your foot that touches the ground in the step must be in bounds. If you “toe tap” the other parts of your foot don’t touch the ground until the next step.

Think of it this way, if you are running a go and catch it at the back of the end zone and your heel is in but your toe is out, it doesn’t matter which hits first, part of your foot is out. No one would dispute that. This is only being questioned by people who don’t understand the rule because they are trying to apply a different set of circumstances in order to get the answer they want.

BB had the Zapp. You may laugh but you'd be wrong.
AC/DC has a song about it.

He had the zapp (da da da da da), he had the zapp

He had the zapp, zapp, zapp, zapp, zapp, zapp, zapp...he had the zapp

Great song. Works just as well lol

I think realistically he'd have to pick one at NFL level... very few players have succeeded play O/D ... Sanders/Hester are two I can think of.

There is no way this team wins more than 2 games if Jacoby keeps starting.
Correct. But JB won't last much longer. Everyone knows it.

Sure, we'll have to suffer the stupid mistakes every rookie makes. But at this point, trying to pass for more than 44yds a half is worth a couple more mistakes. I think the D will even be okay being put in some short fields, if it means there's also a chance we get points and sustained drives - just due to Maye's ability to run & extend plays - nevermind the ability to push the ball deep once in a while.

If we go through this season and don’t get the best OT in the draft, I might be done with this team.

We really don't care if it's the correct call by the rules. It's still a ****ing stupid rule.

AFC East is looking like the Least.

Not sure what the deal is, #crunch probably, but baker isn't even playing.

Attitude?

If it's attitude, that needs to be fixed...
People are waiting to stand up.

If there is doubt internally, then Id trade down. Really need some game changers on the line. Early consensus suggests two OT will go top ten in 25, then theres a drop off. Its too early to tell, but if that holds true, Id be interested in moving in to the teens and adding future draft value. As much as is available. Draft BPA in the teens and continue to build.

I think realistically we are looking at OL help in draft followed by another suckfest season and get our offensive playmakers then. No point in drafting a WR high unless we score big in FA.

I think you missed what he was saying.
If Polk's heel never landed on the ground
at all, after the toe tap, it would have been a catch. Same thing I posted much earlier.
The rule is that on an end zone catch, you must get two feet inbounds but a toe tap is ok as long as the rest of that foot ?never
touches the ground out of bounds.
So on this particular play, if Polk had managed to ?not allow his heel to hit the ground out of bounds after the toe tap that would have been a td.
I dont know if was even physically possible for him to do that, given his momentum etc.
It is a stupid rule, like the tuck rule was.

To further clarify, dragging the toes is also ok- as long as his heel doesn't land right away out of bounds.
Polk actually did more than toe-tap- he also got the entire ball of his foot down- what negated the catch was his heel then hitting the ground out of bounds. If he had been able to dangle his leg in the air so heel never hit ground for a few seconds, it's a td.

Brisket on the radio today said he expects to start Sunday. So nobody told him that Maye is starting, ergo my guess is he isn't. You would make the decision today, to give Maye the whole week to get ready for his first NFL start. Even if it wasn't you probably would tell he backup he is playing, since there is no need to wait. They saw the game live.
