That's not an accurate way to look at it at all.

They made the move for Rourke AFTER losing Grier. They wouldn't have claimed Rourke if Grier wasn't signed by the Chargers.

good point. That also points out that the Chargers got hosed signing Grier just in time to miss out on Rourke.

on further thought I guess they could sit Bailey and play Rourke. Like Corky, Zappe’s not going to throw INTs from the bench. So benching them both would preserve the status quo for the INT race.

I'm sure they exist. They're just in hiding right now because their boy has been benched.

But Mac Jones might just get another shot to prove himself.

Zappe would probably have to put up a bed wetter of a performance though or maybe Mac just needs to look good in practice.

I have no idea what the Patriots are doing at QB anymore but it smells of desperation.

I assume most football teams start out with a positive feeling about their new highly touted QB. So I’d say it seems more likely they cooled off to him. That says a lot to me.
