Patriots / Brady Discussion

My taste evolved from heavy metal to opera. I then figured out that metal pretty much IS opera.

Old and from a Christian metal band but still an actually decent bit of Opera + Prog metal.

Guys, watch this video from ProFootballDoc. He answers a Pats fan question about Hogan. He anticipates a healthy Hogan return in the Divisional. Around 2:59.

I think Chao is pretty credible, at least with the limited info that he has.

Hogan has been a limited practice participant for quite sometime, so he should be good for the upcoming game with the extra week of rest. If he’s still on the border, I’d hope they’re still conservative (which goes against conventional thinking due to the circumstances), because I think we need him for the remaining games. Since it’s the postseason, we’re likely to get anything he has, even if it’s only 2/3 or 3/4. Hopefully, he’s as close to 100% as possible.

Id rather have the reason for the problem the offense is having fixed which is the mass amount of injuries around Brady than hear any more excuses about how his inconsequential injuries are the reason for any issue.

You keep saying this. I'm curious do you think Brady's achilles injury was fake news?

I'm 34, I don't listen to rap or hip-hop anymore but I loved a lot of the stuff in the 90s.. much like all generations, I view the newer stuff as trash compared to what I listened to lol

I used to hate country music, but I find myself enjoying some of that now too so my tastes have definitely changed/evolved over the years

I've never been a country music fan either but every once in awhile a country hit attracts my attention. I've never hated country music but just never really liked it enough to buy the CD.

Garth Brooks's Low places was great, Steve Earle's Copperhead road was awesome and the latest country hit to sneak up on me is Dierk Bentley's What was I thinking. Other than that it's 70's/80's/90's rock and some Metallica/Megadeth for me.

I hate the term fake news because it is inherently a ******** concept. Of course Brady suffered some kind of injury to it. I think people are going at the entire thing from the wrong side and are falling into the good old Post Hoc Ergo Propter Hoc fallacy. They see that the offense produces differently than before and are assuming because an injury happened around a similar time that the latter caused the former.

However, in 4 weeks nobody has been able to find any evidence of Brady having issues planting, setting or favoring legs. The opposite is true if you watch snaps where he is actually protected on the interior. He still moves smoothly and can set at record pace to get throws off. There is no obvious sign that he is actually affected by it like KVN does with his calf injury.

I just dont see anything injury related being as impactful as missing all those players around him. Chatham went into it this week on his epic podcast and more or less stated the same thing.

Thanks man. Haven't had much time to watch or listen to much of anything lately.

Will it be much warmer in the 100s?
I’ve never experienced it myself, but I’m guessing that it’s always a few degrees warmer in the 100s. The beer is colder and the women are prettier, and I’ve heard that the sun beams down on you “just right.”

My significant other is a Country music nut. I've gone to a few shows and have had a great time.

I like Jason Aldeen. He seems legit. Dirt Road Anthem and Night Train are outstanding

Metallica/Megadeth

The Tom Brady and Bill Belichick of Metal. Motorhead is JE11. Slayer is Gronk.

expected . still good to read (from Reiss)

Patriots running back James White, who was held out of the final two regular-season games with an ankle injury, expects to be ready to play in Saturday’s AFC divisional round. That’s good news on two fronts for the Patriots: He’s one of their most clutch players, as evidenced by his work in Super Bowl LI, and the team’s best pass protectors at running back, which should increase Tom Brady's comfort level.

I was always partial to Pantera myself. "A new level! Of confidence! And power!"

I'm not into metal much these days, but the drums to this song still kick my ass.

Vinny Paul is just as good of a drummer as Lars.

You beat me to it. I love Metallica but Lars sometimes is off.
Spit out the bone off the new album has double Bass in it. But live he can't play the double Bass parts.

Hogan was one of the Practice Players of the Week for the Jets game last week.
