Tom is the GOAT but also a metrosexual weirdo with an unnatural loyalty to a snake oil salesmen.
I hate the tension that it has created, but if Guerrero is helping Brady stretch, massage, eat healthy, and workout in a way that benefits the team, they can sleep in the same bed for all I give a damn.

If Tom buys into it, let him. Maybe it’s adding some years to his career. That said, I side with B.B. about having him removed from the facility.

I think Tom should...uh...wait. What the eff do I care what this 6th round pick wants to do after 17 seasons and 5 (FIVE) Super Bowl wins. I was COMPLETELY happy and content with Tom Brady after he led the Patriots to the Super bowl win against the Rams. The rest has been a goddyamed BONUS the likes of which NO fanbase has enjoyed in DECADES.

But keep on doing the "Knower Of Things!!!" ripping and tearing away at Brady, his legacy , his heart, his clothes, his car, his fukkin' cliff diving techniques and whatever else it is you need to prop yourself up as some kind of bona fide "expert" in proper Tom Bradyism. Krist...

So the Titans, JAX, Pitt, MN, Rams, HOU arent contenders with Tom?

Only the Titans and Jacksonville would even take Brady. The rest would not even be interested because they have their guys who have a longer shelf life than Brady. Similarly why would Pittsburgh get rid of their own HoF franchise guy. That is just silly.

The other two don't really have the necessary pieces on offense in place for him to play at the same level as he does in NE. With the Jaguars maybe the defense does enough to make it all work. You would still have to rebuild the entire offense.

The fact that you think TB couldn't learn a new system well enough in 1 year to compete is insulting to TB. And if you don't think most teams out there wouldn't be willing to switch to the EP system for a chance at TB and bring in the needed personnel you would be crazy.

He is 41. He does not have time to learn new systems. The only reason he is still playing is because he has a chance to win every year thanks to how well built the infrastructure is around his strengths in NE. The older he gets the more comfortable you want him to be with the playcalling and surrounding talent because you can leverage almost two decades worth of his experience with it.

I mean it is pretty obvious. But then again people keep calling him the GOAT and think that means that he is the best in all possible aspects of being a QB. Guess what ? You put him into a pure west coast system and he might actually be a below average QB simply because his strengths don't overlap particularly well with what would be asked of him there. And again.. at the age of 41 you spend more time maintaining what you have than trying to learn new tricks.

And none of this puts into question his GOAT status. But lets be objective here and not turn him into some kind of god that can master everything he touches just by trying.

I'm not arguing the feasibility of taking Tom. I agree with your points.

Because he is the GOAT, I am arguing he would make a dozen teams - maybe more serious SB contenders.

TB12 is a huge upgrade over Roeth. You can't be serious

You come off as implying Tom needs great players around him and a system perfect for him to be successful when he doesnt

Of course on paper he is a big upgrade over Big Ben. My point is that Roethlisberger is a HoF QB and has an entire career worth of history with the Steelers that includes titles. There is no way they would trade that legacy for about 2 years of Brady.

Not at all. Not sure where exactly you think you see me saying this. I am saying it is notoriously difficult to get into his circle of trust because of how much he demands from his receiving options. To suggest you can just transplant him into a different team, surrounded by totally unfamiliar players and coaches and to top if off into a different system of offense is just naive. I am definitely not saying that he needs great players around him. But we have almost two decades of experience telling us that players that want to be a true option in a Tom Brady offense need to fit a certain profile or will be phased out and ignored.

Also I am not saying he needs a perfect system but just pointing out that the system here was refined over the last 15+ years to be tailor fit for his skill set. At his age you really don't want him going away from the automatisms he has developed.

You seem to be confusing want and difficult for actual ability to do so. Of course TB wouldn't want to do it and of course it would be easier not to. But again you are insulting TB if you don't think he could do it at an extremely high level.
And I'd bet if you offered the Steelers a chance at TB12 they would toss Big Ben aside in a heartbeat.

I am not confusing anything. I am saying as it is. Brady is incredible in the offense that he helped to optimize to perfection in NE. It is pretty likely that he would be significantly worse if you throw him into another offense, with unfamiliar players and new coaches. That is just logical thinkng.

And I'd bet if you offered the Steelers a chance at TB12 they would toss Big Ben aside in a heartbeat.

That is just homerism. Why would the Steelers do that ? Rothlisberger is what he is but has shown that he can bring the Steelers to the SB. Is he as good as Brady ? Of course not. But he is good enough to get it done unless you hit one of the those 1-2 games a year where he has a total meltdown. There is no way that Pittsburgh would move on from him for 2 years of Brady.

I'm not convinced of that.

Give Tom an offseason and he'll know the offense and the personnel.

Add NYG, DEN, CHI, AZ, BUF, CLE and probably more. On a short term deal TB makes your team a possible SB contender in the short term even if you just drafted a good QB prospect for the long run.

SF were told no on JG last off season, then they asked about Brady and were laughed off. That's last place, pathetic post 2016 49ers.

Silly argument that there aren't numerous teams that wouldn't want TB.

Any idea how many sessions there were last week? Just curious as to whether Mitchell may have missed more than one session or not, as Tuesday may have been nothing more than a rest day for him.
Not encouraging that he would need a day off after taking a season off. He's a lock if healthy, but knee is a giant question mark. We still don't know his injury or surgery. Should learn more in a week or so.

Brady is having the receivers up to his ranch in Montana in July before training camp. They'll get more accomplished there rapport wise than they would in these voluntary OTAs
Magic Hands will be fluffing pillows for the boys in the bunkhouse I reckon
