OT: Official 2021 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

Ok, Brady's defense gets credit for the comeback....

BTW, who's fault was Tommy's strip sack?
Football is a 60 minute game. Brady completed another historic comeback but his defense and coaching let him down.

Kind of like Bill’s defense in both Giants Super Bowls and Super Bowl 52, wasting as great a championship performance as you’ll ever see in sports. But not as much of a letdown as watching Bill’s defense give up 7 TD in 7 drives in the last game and not being able to force a punt in 9+ quarters from a division rival that we are chasing in the standings. Now that is a defensive performance for the ages.

Please, his defense caused most of those turnovers (the first fumble looked like Kupp being careless). He didn't show up for 3 quarters, you just don't want to admit it.

I admit Bill's D let him down in SB 52. But Tommy let the Pats down in SB 42. He himself said in Man in the Arena that he couldn't figure out the Giants exotic blitzes and went into halftime essentially panicking. On top of that, Strahan said in the documentary that the whole D was pissed off at Brady for his "we’re only going to score 17 points?" remark. The Giants D in 2007 was nothing historic...even Favre and Packers were able to score more points in the NFCCG than the Pats did

They made it possible for Brady to deliver and he did like he usually does. Why do you cherry pick negative stats? Yes Brady makes mistakes duh. You define him by them. You made one your signiture. Get lost troll.

And with even all that he still left the field with the lead late in the game and the defense gave it away. Both times.

Scoring only 14 points in the biggest game in NFL history when your team was averaging 38 PPG is on the offense. Even if the D managed to hold the lead, Welker would have been the MVP, not Tommy.

Looks like you guys may get a QB after all…LMAO

A game you have treasured all these years. You can hardly stop talking about it. That team that averaged 38 points a game you never give the Brady led offense any credit for but the one game the team scores 14 points in is the one you blame the Brady led offense on.....Goal post moving and cherry picking. Just a few post ago you wouldn't give the Pats defense any credit for the Rams "mistakes" in order to try and dismiss Brady's clutch comeback to tie the game and now you won't give the Giants defense any credit for holding the Pats to 14 points. Nope that was all on the Brady led Pats offense. You really are a successful troll. What you suck at is having virtually no one agree with practically anything you say.

Lol told you. Brady definitely had some very important talks with them.
And Bradys IG story Ronaldo asks Tom if he's finished and he answers with a "ehhhhh"

You don't not show up for the most important of those 19 games...the rest of the world doesn't care about games 1-18. And Brady admitted the Pats offense didn't play well vs Jax or SD either in the playoffs that year. The Giants D was great but they weren't exactly the 85' Bears. They were beatable.

Curious what you all think of Ronaldo and Messi, if you follow the sport at all. I’m just a very casual follower who rarely watches, but both of those guys leaving their teams (like Brady) may impact their legacies, no?

Ronaldo had already played for Man U early in his career, but this is a reminder of just how great he is even at age 37. Messi has really looked bad since leaving Barcelona for PSG…almost a worst case scenario type of flop.

And no, I don’t know, or really care, who is the greatest of their generation. Just by reputation, I would have said Messi a year ago, but now that seems complicated. I’m just talking about their perceived legacies since they’ve switched teams and wondering how much people will focus on this if Messi doesn’t get return to the same level of dominance outside that organization.

Ronaldo is a machine, Messi is a magician. Extremely lucky to witness both play. I give the edge to Ronaldo though. He's the Champions League king

You just move the goal posts from one post to another to suit your narrative. You haven't shut up about that game for almost 3 years publically. You haven't shut up about any negative play for that matter, Mr. Parker. You are practically alone.......I think I just got it. No one notices pretty much anything you post unless you're trolling. Very therapeutic.
