OT: Official 2021 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

We should simply have an OT: The Tom Brady Thread on main forum.

It's clearly still one of the most popular conversations on here and it's silly we have to go to a sub-forum to talk about the greatest player in franchise/NFL history in secrecy. In reality, Brady will always be inherently on-topic on a Patriots fan forum.

Seeing an active Tom Brady thread instead of the same 2-3 threads that have been on top of main forum for last months just makes sense.
Disagree. Team Bill and the other Brady haters will have a fit: he's no longer a Pat, why is there a thread about a non-Pat player on the main forum, yada yada yada.

A few Karens got Tom Brady cancelled. It's ridiculous that it happened, but that's what the site's become.

Don't think it was a good move for a WR2. Evans is the WR1 and usually has to go against the CB1.

Gronk, fournette, and Evans are my fav on the team. Gronk and fournette are for sure gone after this tag.

They’re all joining Brady on the 49ers or Cardinals.

A lot of legendary greatness in one video. Brady was at Old Trafford to watch the Manchester United(owned by the Glazers) game vs Tottenham.

Maybe he met with the Glazers to discuss about his playing future??? Hmmmmmm

I’m hoping against hope that Brady winds up with another team, for no other reason then it would be awesome to watch. Him returning to Tampa Bay is an okay silver lining. Obviously returning to NE is the supreme scenario, but it isn’t going to happen.

I’m still pissed the Bucs spent a second round pick on Trask (!) and spent all that money on Barrett. As a very clear contrast, the Rams (Miller) and Chargers (Mack) have spent second round picks for game changing pass rushers (especially Mack.) Just because a player isn’t publicly being dangled doesn’t mean an aggressive, win-now team can’t put together a proposal. If Brady does return to Tampa, I hope they’ll be more aggressive to win now. Teams are simply making a mockery of the salary cap and the rich are able to get richer during this increased cap year and these creative contracts.

Barrett's last 3 years:

Mack's last 3 years:

Granted there are intangible things that the stats can't show, but Barrett has dominated Mack, statistically.

Interesting. Maybe my eyes deceive me. Admittedly, I haven’t followed Mack much beyond of his reputation.

SF, Miami, Pittsburgh.....

Probably the 3 most interesting "possible" scenarios.

Well, to be fair to Mack in terms of the stats, one of the intangibles is frequency of double teams/offensive attention, and Barrett's had JPP to help things out in that department.

But Mack's been less of a player once past his first year in Chicago, IMO.

Probably the 3 most interesting "possible" scenarios.

SF - I live 15 minutes from the stadium in Santa Clara, so this couldn’t excite me any more. I can only imagine an offense with Brady, Kittle, Gronk, Juszczyk, and Deebo.

Miami - I think their time was two years ago, and while I wouldn’t care that much, I would hate to see the Patriots fans reactions to this. It sure would be entertaining.

Pittsburgh - Let me know if you have a hookup for cyanide pills.

Didn't da Bears give up a king's ransom to get Mack from the Raiduhs? With moves like that from his opposition it's no wonder Rodgers is going back to GB.
