Bernard is eligible to come off injured reserve this week, but I didn't see him, and Bucs haven't posted notice that he's been designated to return. Arians had said he had fingers crossed he could be back this week, but that might just be general optimism.
Of the newly injured Bucs running backs, Ke’Shawn Vaughn (ribs) was at practice today, but did not see Ronald Jones (ankle).
Bucs announce that punter Bradley Pinion is back off the reserve/COVID-19 list -- all clear there now for the team -- and guard Aaron Stinnie is back at practice and eligible to return from injured reserve in the next 21 days.
PFT is obsessed with this.
Another day passes with Antonio Brown still on the Bucs roster
The Buccaneers' practice report for Wednesday included wide receiver Antonio Brown as a non-participant for non-injury reasons and there's a chance that Thursday's report will have the same entry.profootballtalk.nbcsports.com
If this is more or less how it went down (AB hesitant to play on his sprained ankle which kept him out of practice all week), then the coaches, especially Arians, went about this HORRIBLY by saying "no, too bad, go in the game or get out". Obviously, Brown's reaction is unwarranted as a response, but why are you pressing and pushing the buttons of such an emotional player? Especially handling a player like that whose talent you'll basically be screwed without barring some major miracles from Brady. It's not like they would've expected such an outburst, but pushing him to play in the second last regular season game instead of keeping him healthier for the playoffs -- is absolutely stupid. They basically gaslit Antonio Brown, their best WR albeit with some temper & anger issues. Why the HELL would you do that?!
This thread has grown 7 pages since last night and I’m bout to catch I ****ing swear if of this **** if trolling and y’all responding to that clown Mack than I’m swinging
I believe neither of them. I think the truth is in the middle. Arians never take responsibility for anything. It’s always someone else fault but never his. You can be 100% sure that if the Bucs get eliminated in the playoffs in an embarrassing way Arians will say in the post game presser that Brady was calling the shot all season and he had nothing to do with it.
it’s a classic case of he said, she said. If your a criminal but get set up by a cop, you have 0 chance in court because everyone believes the cop.
Is he really done done or is his injury the type that can heal a year or two later?Edelman is done unfortunately.
Bucs better not lose in the wildcard round or else they'll be lots of finger pointing all around. You can bet Arians will be pointing it at Brady.he blamed Brady after every loss last year anyone who believes that dude is a clown
Even if he does not win MVP, man has Brady shown that Bill was a clown for giving up on him. Look a these past 2 seasons with 40 TDs each and the wins and comebacks and the SB. I agree with Pats1960 that Bill moving off from Brady is by far the worst sports move in Boston sports history.
Ruth played while 24, in Boston. He was then sold to the Yankees. He went on to play 15 seasons for the Yankees. I love Brady, but Ruth is the clear answer on this.Sports history.. would be like the bulls telling jordan to hit the road in 1996
