Kraft Orchids Case - Prosecuters Want a Tug Rule?

Wow, 136 pages. This prostitution thing must be the world's newest profession!

I'm sorry if you believe the 45 and 58 yo women that attended Kraft are sex slaves brought here against their will and threatened. I simply don't believe that at all.

Was there prostitution going on, yes probably, so what? They need to legalize it to reduce the abuse the women have to go through. I don't look down on prostitutes or call them whores, to me they are working women. They should be protected, regulated, and taxed just like any other service.

I agree that it should be legalized for these reasons. However, if everyone can break laws that they personally don’t agree with and not have consequences, good luck living in that society.

We’re trying to bump the Malcolm Butler thread back down to #2, which would fall between the Kraft thread and the Hernandez thread, but still in front of the Deflategate thread. I think.

I’m going to go and re-watch SB highlights.

I can suddenly hear Kraft’s voice asking for the rub and tug at the front desk. Hiccups and all.
That would be the most depersonalized non-sensual intimate transaction broached in the history of mankind.

Unequivocally the Sweetest
Which massage was sweeter, though? I’m thinking the one that took place on Sunday morning, although the double-handed job on Saturday had to be pretty good, too.

If he gets off on a technicality someone will just leak the tape to TMZ anyway, Goodell is dropping the hammer either way now.

Presently in 30th place behind this gem:
Why did this team sign Tebow?

Joker. You did not have a reply icon. You are right I did get angry. I made a blanket statement. He directed his statement directly at me that I am naive. I don’t take kindly direct insults of my knowledge or interpretation. You will feel my anger at that point. Hell I watch you go off on people.
Since you have some longevity on this site. I will respect your warning. But when someone attacks me directly they will get my dark side. Just like I am sure you would do the same
not a warning...I have no "warning" power because I've been a cantankerous old coot here well over twenty years. I replied because the two of you have your own OPINION on this whole passion play. It's a trigger topic and as we all know in this age of social justice warriorship "I'm triggered!" always leads to acrimonious insults. As Patriots fans we should "slow our roll", as the hipsters say, and stay united through this unfortunate time.

"United"? As far as I'm concerned, Bob's on his own with this sleazy escapade.

My apologies for my name calling. I am not sure of the ages of Krafts servants. I have not read details of the case. The parts that I heard that made me know this was human trafficking was the girls cooking out back and sleeping in the salon. The transferring of girls from one saloon to another. These actions are classic with HT. Take my daughter’s word on this, this is her living. There were more than the 2 women you are referring to that stayed at this salon. My guess is some are slaves. Kraft himself is involved in a miseamenor. Whether you feel prostitution should be legal. It is Illegal.. Kraft also should have known that.
Law Enforcement obviously felt there was Trafficking going on. You don’t get the funds needed to take on this type of sting, or clearance from a judge to use surveillance in such a private setting. I trust there instincts. Are they perfect. No But they try to do their best on the whole. My guess is women’s rights or HT rights activists will be breathing down Krafts neck soon. When the NFL owners feel the wrath he will feel the wrath d will be disgraced by the owners. That is just my opinion. I could be totally wrong on how rich men think and act. I do know through family conversations how HT works.

There are plenty of laws that aren't enforced but I'm not advocating for that.

Look at marijuana for example, how many kids lives were destroyed due to possesion charges. How many people have died in the drug war. Society is finally coming around and realizing how stupid the whole thing was and so it will be legal everywhere in a few more years. Obviously it needs to be regulated to keep it out of reach of minors (good luck with that) and such.

Anyway the fact that something is deemed illegal doesn't necessarily make it immoral or wrong. I bet that sodomy is still illegal in some states even between married couples. How ridiculous is that?

it's not Krafty Swingerson I'm worried about, Tunes...

LOL. You must be a white male.

The way I see it this personal indiscretion of his has nothing to do with the football team -- so far, at least.

Prostitution is against the law. He paid for sex. Human Trafficking is real. The women in these cases do not talk, making the kingpins hard to pin down. They are in fear. There family and themselves are threatened. Yes right at the moment they do not have the kingpins because the girls will not cooperate. But that does not mean Law Enforcement should not keep trying. Kudos to that Florida CountyLaw Dept. We are not going to become a better country until we have law enforcement that keeps trying to finally get one or two of these girls to speak.
You say I am naive. My daughter is in the States Probation Dept in regards to Human Trafficking. She said this case is textbook. They are brought and promised to be nail tech’s and citizenship. They are then brought here to become slaves and threatened to keep their silence. So please with your pompous know it all attitude.
Your nothing more than an uninformed moron

Where's Alanis Morrissette when we need her?

The next one?

There’s likely no need for a leak. From articles I’ve read it mostly likely is or will be a public record under FL freedom of information laws. The state will have to give it out to any Florida-based entity (and maybe any entity) who asks properly.

Doesn't matter. He went in which was his choice. He has only himself to blame.
Well yes of course no one made him go through with it but that's besides my point.

So what do you think the cop could have said: I just saw you leaving the massage parlor and wanted to know who you are in case I need a reference? Or, there have been Bentleys being robbed in the neighborhood and want to make sure you two old azz gentlemen didn't jack this one?

I’m not sure you are getting this.
The police officer needs a reason to pull the car over. Having the reason is the requirement not explaining the reason to the person at that time.

I mean you're not suggesting he said: you are a suspect so I need to see your id when we go to arrest you.
Again what he said is meaningless. The existence of probable cause is relevant, not what is said to the suspect.

Maybe he simply said, Mr. Kraft is that you? Sorry but I had to pull you over to make sure it was you, my boyz aren't going to believe me, can I take a pic of your id?
Again he could have said many things, I have no idea on why you are hung up on this. The validity of the stop is based upon having a legitimate reason to make the stop not the conversation you have with the suspect.
