Even in the midst of a summer vacation, quarterback Tom Brady remains never too far from a football.
On Tuesday, Brady posted a video of himself at his summer home in Montana throwing passes to “Wes, Jules and Danny” (Wes Welker, Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola), but he was actually goofing around as his actual targets on this day were both of his sons and a nephew.
While the funny tribute to his old teammates may be a somber one for Pats fans longing for those days again, it at least shows Brady still holds his Foxborough days close to him.
In the past, Brady would invite his Patriots wide receivers to his Yellowstone Club home in Montana each summer for private workouts.
“Great to have Wes, Jules and Danny out in Montana this week! Just missing my tightest tight end,” Brady jokingly wrote in an accompanying caption to the social media post.

A short time later Julian Edelman responded to the posting, but appeared to not find it very funny.
Edelman of course, is now officially retired, so perhaps he wishes he was back working out in Montana again.
