My 2 cents. It's not very creative, but it reinforces the main concept of these threads: The Jets really suck.

I feel for your difficulty, Tune. There's something about an endlessly repeating cycle of squalor and suffering that makes it all too easy to shrug one's shoulders ("There you go again, Sisyphos!") or think of it as some kind of eternal justice ("Serves you right, Judas!")

I think you are dead right when you diagnose the J-E-T-E as a fundamentally sick culture that exercises a perverse attraction for those whose idea of themselves depends on being repeatedly humiliated and then ranting and whining about their fate.

But how to convey that as the J-E-T-E embark on yet another year of inevitable futility is truly a creative challenge.

Jets are winning the draft with great talent so far. Jets draftees are losing their futures :-(

Each of their 3 first rounders will be available to have their careers rehabilitated on relatively cheap contracts in 4-5 years.

Exactly. After Vernon Gholston, Dee Milliner, Kyle Wilson, Quinton Coples, Calvin Pryor, Sam Darnold, Darron Lee, Quinnen Williams, etc were selected , “draft experts” viewed them as cornerstones of Jets success. Reality intruded on those delusions.

Based on Jete history, at least one of this year’s 1st rounders won’t be able to make the transition from college to the pros, one will be ruined by Jete coaching and, if one shows some talent or ability, they’ll shoot their way out of town like Jamal Adams.

On a side note, we really need to start the 2022 thread.
