TB12 has been holding BB back.

Unfortunately if you take away all the cheating that brings the number down to like -4. I mean how can you even root for a team that took signals from an illegal location? If they were taken from like 5 feet over to the right side, you really think Shady and Belicheat would be celebrating their 5th tainted Super Bowl with an imaginary asterisk next to it. What kind of message does this send to the youth of America who will now feel encouraged to cheat. Once a cheater always a cheater hehe cheaters never win.

Hate to tell you this but if a team's willing to gamble on the likes of watson and trubinsky than the same can be said for jimmy g who in my mind's better than those guys. I believe the report.

There is zero evidence at this time that JG is/will be better than either of those guys.

As for the report - he curiously doesn't say who made the offer nor any information on what first rounder we're talking about. I do believe he heard it but I lean to the theory that someone in the organization just told him that to pump up JG's public value if a team wanted to be stupid enough to trade anything of worth for one year of JG.

Teams mislead the media at draft time all the time for their own purposes.

I don't but neither do you. That tweet isn't credible to me as it is missing important details like who made the offer. He's in no position to call anything "fact" if he isn't actually with the organization and helping them make decisions. That ambiguous tweet is something one would say if they were told what to say by the team.

As for hype - it happens all the time at draft time. "Everyone wants this guy!" when it's really only one team trying to trade him. Ever notice the anonymous "sources" about certain guys liking to party, character concerns, etc? Who do you think says these things? It's the teams that want them the most trying to scare other teams off. It's a shady thing to do but it happens.

JG is probably going to be a good QB, perhaps even a great one but too many people are talking like it's a fact right now he is better than the other QBs in this draft and there is no evidence of this whatsoever.

Your list makes things pretty clear. With very few exceptions, winning a SB requires one of the following 3 things

Elite QB
All-time level defense
Eli Manning playing against a Bill Belichick team
