Assuming the Pats take care of business against the fish, next Sunday is setting up to be not only the most epic regular season clash in NFL history between two teams, but also between two quarterbacks.

Steelers #7 threw for his third career 500-yard game (all WINS) against the Ravens Sunday night, to carry an 11-2 record into the highly anticipated matchup against the Patriots on December 17th. (Tom Brady has only one 500-yard game in his career.) Even more impressive is the screen capture of the current league-leading passer, rusher, and receiver - also known as the "3 B's." From NFL.com, below, we see that Roethlisberger, Bell, and Brown each lead the league in yardage for their respective categories:

You lost me at "most epic regular season clash in NFL history".. and by the way Tom Brady threw for over 500 once against Miami Lolphins.

You are correct. The OP has been updated to reflect his one 500-yard passing game.

Though, I don't really see how this is important. Tom Brady doesn't care about stats and before you try to say it, no it doesn't make Big Ben a better QB. Ben isn't even a top 3 QB in the last 15 years.

Stats such as playoff wins, Super Bowl wins, career winning pct., and accomplishments such as the only QB with three 500-yard games, and the only QB with back-to-back 6 TD games, would disagree with your assessment.

Pit vs NE will never have the same feel as Indy vs NE or in other words Big Ben/Brady will never feel like Brady/Manning.....ever!.

Sorry just not the same. This game will be more of the same. The old saying "Same as it always was...." I am more worried about losing in Miami than Pittsburgh. This game has the makings for one of our lets go to Miami and **** ourselves.

Drop the Pittsburgh kool-aid. Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers and you could argue Wilson are all better QBs. I know you're a troll so don't take this as me "biting", rather its just that bad of a troll. Big Ben is good, but I take the other 3 in a heartbeat and maybe even Wilson.

The most epic regular season clash in NFL history?

NFL history only goes back to the start of the 2017 season, huh?

There's half a dozen games against Peyton teams alone that were bigger imo. This is barely the most epic regular season clash of the 2017 season, ffs.

I knew the naysayers would come out and that's to be expected when minds are focused on the mighty Dolphins. But after your boys take care of that joke squad Monday night, this will be a legitimate conversation.

No, it won't. Two easy examples of more "EPIC" regular season matchups:

    2007

    8-0 Patriots
    7-0 Colts

    2015

    10-0 Patriots
    8-2 Broncos

Guys however, he's not a troll. A troll is not what he is. He fully acknowledges that Brady is goat BUT Big Ben is a mini-goat. Or a lamb. You guys just don't see it. So Gatekeeper must reiterate the point every 5 years. Or 10. THREE 500 yard games, you guys! Stats that are a hair's width behind Brady's. C'mon you guys Big Ben is legit all-time great and almost-goat, you guys! :(

Do not understand why 3 500 yard games is some high standard??.. What it tells me is that the Raven suck, and they have no Pass D.

I prefer looking at the over record of each QB..
    Brady 218 W's and 63 L's
    Rapesburger 147 W's and 69 L's

Then there are the 5 SB rings..

Can a mod or a OP fix the typo in the thread title where for some reason it says elite QBs ?

All I can see is Brady and then the guy who last year asked for his autographed shirt.

I clicked on this thread thinking your were talking about Brady and Cutler. I'm glad to see you haven't gone off the deep end, after all.

If Brady throws 9 interceptions tonight he could match Big Ben. True story.

Target stats to match Big Ben 18/64 for 112 yards with no TDs (can't have negative TDs) and 9 INTs. Here's hoping Brady can keep up with Big Ben tonight.

And beating the Ravens, a team that has lost to pretty much every winning team it has played this season (except the Lions, at 7-6) should not trigger a trash talk session. It more looks like an expression of surprise at winning a third straight game (2 of 3 at home) that was a lot closer than it should have been. The Rodgers-less Packers, the Bungals and the Cravens by a combined 5 points? Very impressive.

Let's applaud the Steelers defensive effort against the 27th ranked scoring offense in the NFL. 38 points? Steel curtain, baby! Flacco can also claim a season high in passing against that defense for TDs and yards, so accolades all round for the QBs last night.
