2016-2-60 - Cyrus Jones
2015-2-64 - Jordan Richards
2013-3-83 - Logan Ryan
2013-3-91 - Duron Harmon
2012-2-48 - Tavon Wilson
2011-2-33 - Ras-I Dowling
2010-1-27 - Devin McCourty
2009-2-34 - Patrick Chung
2009-2-41 - Darius Butler
2008-2-62 - Terrence Wheatley
2007-1-24 - Brandon Meriweather

Real murderers row there. And McCourty had to change positions because of how bad he was playing.

Three top-10, maybe top-5 safeties in the NFL, two decent starters at safety, a very good slot corner, a couple guys who had injury problems... honestly, looks like any other team's draft picks in the last decade. Maybe better because they got Harmon and McCourty out of the deal, even discounting the players who left (and, in Chung's case, came back).

He gives pretty good effort. He dealt with a shoulder injury all year that required surgery in the offseason to repair a torn labrum, so there are some plays this year where he clearly pulls up a bit when he didn't in 2016. Maybe the reviewer just watched the wrong snaps? I don't think it's the full picture with Ejiofor, whose handwork and preparation is just miles ahead of most college players. He really displays a lot of savvy for the position. I'm a big fan if he's fully healthy.

Got it from the McGinn series. He talks to NFL scouts.

Started for 2 ½ years at DE in a 4-3. Projected by teams as a DE. “Talented, but a finesser,” said one scout. “You’re not sure he loves it.” Parents are immigrants from Nigeria. Late bloomer with 133 tackles (43 for loss) and 23 ½ sacks in 42 games (31 starts). Missed seven games in 2014-’15 with concussions. Arms were 34 7/8, longest at the position. “He’s got rush traits,” another scout said. “He can bend. He’s got length. Athletic.” From Houston. “He’s got talent,” said a third scout. “He also sucks the soul from your body with his complete lack of effort.”

Oh C'Mon TB12 don't overdue it their is more Busts there than actually good players.

You can’t hit on every DB you draft. 4 out of 10 is very good. If you were to say NE can’t draft receivers, you would have a point.

I'm among the leftmost people on this board and it's a big load of nothing. He was like 15 or 16 and from some rural town in California that's like 98 percent white. I doubt there was a black kid in his high school. If he did it now it would rightfully raise some eyebrows, but who cares about tweets from a high school kid. Even better, he acknowledged them and apologized for them. It's a non-story.
Bingo. It’s unfortunately how social media works, though. Context is not accounted for.

Hopefully kids a few years down the road learn from these stories, and are really careful about what they Tweet. Because once it’s posted, it lasts forever.

We need OL but isn't he a center? Can he play tackle?

6051/312

4.99/40-yd ... 1.74/10-yd
- (Solder/Thuney/Mason range)

33.5" vertical ... 115" long jump
- (both marks would instantly become the best on the roster)

4.51 shuttle
- (instantly the best on the team)

8.04 3-cone
- (not great, but better than either Cannon or Waddle)

We don’t need to solve ALL our problems in the first round (or even second). People unfortuatnely on this board are going to jump of the ledge if BB does not address LT, LB, CB, etc. with our first four picks. There’s some good value in the later rounds. I mean if Frank Ragnow is heads and shoulders better than David Andrews, why not? Plus this kid has a great story with his dad dying in his junior year.

Ragnow appears to have the athleticism to play pretty much any OL position.

So is Tavon Wilson! Just got caught up in a numbers game. He's a pretty solid safety for the Lions.

prime the Lions must run a real vanilla D or Wilson was a very very late bloomer he was below average here on D.

Why though? Was the OL a problem? This team has needs on defense.

The Pats may (or may not) have a significant weakness at starting Tackle in 2018. If that weakness truly exists in the perspective of the coaches, it may or may not be able to be addressed by one of the Tackle prospects from this class (though probably not until 2019).

Meanwhile, the Pats will almost certainly have a weakness at Guard for 2019 when Mason hits free agency. Taking a prospect like Ragnow (or Wynn) in this draft may help ensure that there won't be TWO weaknesses along the OL in 2019.

If the Pats Draft a LT in the First either the Player was too good to pass up or they don't trust Antonio Garcia. That said Garcia did grade out well last year and if he's healthy I think the Pats have a player no need for a Logjam at that position.

The Pats haven't actually drafted very many WRs compared to the league average - about half as many as the Steelers, who have also drafted four in the first round (compared to zero for the Pats). In spite of generally drafting WRs earlier than the Pats, the Steelers' percentage of "hits" is about the same. But folks like to point at the Steelers as great drafters of WRs (while conveniently ignoring that they've had numerous busts, too).

Hopefully kids delete their Twitter because it's a virtual hellscape.

McCourty is awful, just re-watch the Superbowl (if you can)

Can't see the Pats making the Rock like Mason walk with the option of the Franchise tag.

That is called thinking in a big way and is characteristic to best coaches and organizations.

I think versatility is the reason we are interested in Tyrell Crosby.

He can play either left or right tackle plus he also has been projected as a quality guard.
