2010 Patriots Rookie Contract Numbers

(UPDATE 7/28): Devin McCourty has reached an agreement on a 5-year deal, so now all 12-picks are now under contract.

After tonight's signing of Brandon Spikes, New England has gotten all but one draft choice - first round pick Devin McCourty - under contract heading into this season. This is pretty good news, and according to published reports McCourty's deal seems to just be a matter of some minor details that are holding things up. Hopefully we'll see a contract for him shortly.

The magic number with each of these players was four years, which is what all of them agreed to. Hhere's a look back at each of their deals.

1st Round (27th Overall) – CB Devin McCourty - Signed
McCourty signed a 5-year deal on July 28th, which according to Mike Reiss of ESPNBoston.com the deal has a maximum value of $13.2 million, citing a league source. The guarantees and bonuses total $7.825 million.

2nd Round (42nd Overall) – TE Rob Gronkowski - Under Contract
According to the Herald Gronkowski signed a four-year deal reportedly worth $4.44 million with a $1.76 million signing bonus and one-time incentive based on minimum playing time worth $830,000.

2nd Round (53rd Overall) – LB Jermaine Cunningham - Under Contract
According to the Herald, Cunningham Signed a four year deal, with Ian Rapoport reporting that he received a $1.32 million signing bonus.  Despite checking multiple other sources it appears the remaining terms of his deal haven't been disclosed just yet.

2nd Round (62nd Overall) – LB Brandon Spikes - Under Contract
According to the Herald Spikes also signed a four-year deal, which will pay him $3.215 million with a signing bonus of $950,000.  The deal also reportedly includes a $450,000 one-time incentive.

3rd Round (90th Overall) – WR Taylor Price - Under Contract
Price signed a 4-year deal, which will pay him $2.494 million with a signing bonus of $704,600.

4th Round (113th Overall) – TE Aaron Hernandez - Under Contract
a four-year, $2.69 million deal that could max out at $3.56 million if he hits all his incentives, with a signing bonus of $200,000. Albert Breer of the Boston Globe provides in-depth numbers on his roster bonuses, etc.

5th Round (150th Overall) – P Zoltan Mesko - Under Contract
Shalise Manza Young reported that Mesko signed a 4-year deal, worth $1.977 million with ”standard rookie escalators on the back end” of the deal. It also includes a signing bonus of more than $187,000.

6th Round (205th Overall) – C Ted Larsen - Under Contract
Christopher Price of WEEI.com reported that Larsen signed a four-year deal worth, $1.87 million back on May 18th. He received a signing bonus of $80,300 signing bonus.

7th Round (208th Overall) – OT Thomas Welch - Under Contract
Christopher Price of WEEI.com reported that Welch signed a four-year deal back on June 4th. The deal was for $1.859 million, with a reported signing bonus of $69,127.

7th Round (247th Overall) – DL Brandon Deaderick - Under Contract
Christopher Price of WEEI.com reported that Deaderick signed a four year deal back on June 9th. The deal was for $1.83 million, and included a signing bonus of just over $40,000.

7th Round (248th Overall) – DL Kade Weston - Under Contract
The Boston Herald reported that Weston signed a four year deal with a maximum value of just under $2.6 million. His signing bonus was $39,700.

7th Round (250th OVerall) – QB Zac Robinson - Under Contract
Good Morning Oklahoma reported that Robinson signed a four year deal with a total base value of $1.828 million, which includes a signing bonus of around $38,000.
