Zimmer and Spielman sacked from Vikings

Sorry cant get the link to stick..will keep trying until someone beats me .....lol

didn't see this coming.

Wow, Flores is a surprise. I don't think he'll be back in NE (he should be the DC for an offensive HC), but I could see a position coach or two being brought in. Off the top of my head I don't think any of them have spent time in NE, but they all coached under Boyer (DC) and Godsey (co-OC), who are from the Patriots coaching tree.

Good work by the Vikings. If you want to take your franchise in a completely different direction, you take it in a completely different direction. Unless the HC is also the GM, you need to ****can the GM, too.

I think Flores could be the straw that cans Culley. Caserio would solve 2 problems with that hire... and keeping Watson happy is the biggest one.
Although - Mills is a quiet story that deserves some praise. He did pretty well considering all the turmoil there.

Assuming Caserio would have any interest in Flores. That’s surely not a given.
And firing a minority coach after 1 season when you ripped the roster to shreds and everyone wondered if he could win a game is not good PR.
Why would Watson be happy with Flores and not Culley and why would the Texans change course and now play Watson before his legal issues are resolved?

This is exactly what I’m talking about. Denver has a good team that needs a QB. Fangio was not doing a bad job, he was just saddled with sh.tty QB’s. They should have stuck with him and found a capable QB, instead they will start over once again, disrupting the franchise once again.
He wasn’t doing a good job either.
I don’t think NFL owners think you are hired and therefore set in stone unless you lose and have no excuses. I think you have to accomplish things to justify being hired. Figure it out. Fangio didn’t and he was a long shot hire to start with.
