NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION 2025 Week 14 NFL Games Thread

With four games to go, the requirement for the Chiefs being mathematically eliminated, is one Chiefs loss and one Texans win. That's it.

The Texans play the Cardinals and the Raiders next, so the Chiefs are effectively eliminated if they lose to the Chargers next week, or the Broncos the week after. Even if they win out, one Chargers win, and two Texans wins in the last four would still be enough to keep them out.

It's over.

If the Chiefs legitimately go 4-0 then they have a shot to get in but that’s tough when two of the games are against LAC and DEN. That said, the other two are against TEN and LV so if they can clear the two tough games then it’s pretty feasible.

Hurts has a real hard time with zone defense. LA played alot of zone. Chess versus checkers.
I think they finally fire the OC before the SB run.

I don’t think I can even call Herbert the ‘future HoFer’ anymore. Now that he’s been outed to all, I suspect even the ‘experts’ will compare him to this era’s high stat QBs and realize he doesn’t even compare with contemporaries, let alone legendary QBs from the past…

LAC have a good D and they benefit from a very down year in the league. In recent years, with several very strong contenders, they’d not even make the playoffs most seasons.

The Chiefs probably will go 4-0 and make the playoffs, and it's in our interest that they keep winning until at least the Denver game at KC.

Nobody in the NFC is going to beat LA but the Pats will beat them in the SB for Silence of the Rams III.

I agree re their talent. Honestly : they should be going for an easy three peat this season. But for whatever reason, they are just sometimes a mess.

Told ya Bills were winning today. Pats D better be ready next week. I don't want a ****ing shoot out with Allen at this point. I figure it will take 30 points to beat Buffalo. Can Drake score 30 and can the D hold them to 28?

Took 2 Burrow INTs that Stevie Wonder could have seen.. for bills to even come back in the game.. Burrow was slicing up bills D all game in the SNOW.. Drake is more than up to the challenge.. 27-20 patriots...

Josh Allen should have thrown Two EZ picks: one went through Three Bengals Defenders. The Patriots Defense better not make that happen: I am sure the Bengals are kicking themselves.

On a more serious note Eagles fans are done with AJ Brown. Takes plays off. Doesn’t block effectively etc. I told them he would play hard for Vrabel next season. So that might happen if the team itself has had enough.
