Nice tip and pick Chargers needed the win. KC officially eliminated now??
I don’t think they’re fully eliminated but it’s real damn close

Man the last two prime time games a real football love that defense intensity thank god Silver isn’t commish

Also doesn’t this basically eliminate KC

Ending on a turnover was quite appropriate.
Eagles are collapsing. Their remaining schedule is easy except they have a road game against Buffalo!

About 10% per The Athletic.
They’re basically 3 games behind all three wild card seeds with 4 games to go. They’re only 2 behind Houston but they lose the H2H tiebreaker so it’s effectively 3 games. So, KC can slide in if they go on a 4-0 run and one of the teams above them goes on an 0-4 run or something. Not likely.

They’re only hope was chargers falling with a tough schedule and no line this win was big for them

I don’t get why anybody here would fear Kansas City. There’s no Mahomes magic this year. They’re a bad team who are progressively getting worse as the season goes on
I still do. And will until they are out for one simple reason. Their ceiling is incredibly high. They've been very unclutch, inconsistent and Mahomes isn't quite as good week in week out as he was. But they have the highest ceiling in the AFC. Nothing will change that.

They almost beat Denver in Denver and if they played 60 quality minutes they would have.

Eagles didn't look great today and I think the Rams are likely to be the better team. But the Eagles have the highest ceiling in the NFL, and I'd love it if they were out.

I was one of the few on this board that said 14-3 was possible at the beginning of the year. Maybe even better. And that was because, again, the CEILING, of the Patriots was among the best in the NFL.

BUT talking about teams in the playoffs, while id hate to play Denver in Denver. I am not as worried as some, because they have had fo many breaks and have played at their ceiling consistently nearly all year. It is incredibly hard to deliver that all season and into the post season.

What is this “ceiling” of which you speak?

There's a world in which the Chargers DB who intercepted the last pass fumbles the ball while trying to return it and the Eagles recover and we have Troy Brown flashbacks. Luckily for him his teammate tackles him before he can mess up the victory.

Some idle thoughts on the Monday night game.

1. I was shocked at how inaccurate both Herbert and Hurts were, though Hurts was much worse. But I was even more shocked by the fact no one seemed to be open most of the time. Our offense has various degrees of success. but most of the time Maye usually has SOMEONE open. I wouldn't want either of these OC's drawing plays for Drake. How many times did we watch Herbert roll right and then end up throwing the ball away. So many chances for RB's to turn up field and run past DB's racing up field to stop them at the LOS.

2. I loved the Charger rookie RB. He has very good vision. as well as some speed and power. IIRC he was the only first round RB and he looks the part

3. I rooted for LA. I want them to have something to play hard for when they go up against Denver down the stretch. I'm rooting for KC now, so THEY have something to play for when they play the Broncos. The Broncos' schedule is much harder than ours IMHO.

4. Both these teams have VERY good defenses. I wanted to draft DeJean back in 24, he was a big binky of mine. He can play the slot, CB, and S and has good size as well Philly got him very late in the 2nd.

hopefully that LAC loss to the ****ing 2-11 NYG doesn’t come back to bite them
