Somehow the NFL doesn’t want to recognize that defense is as important as offense.
Seriously... How many AFCCG losses to the Pats have been catalysts for rule changes over the years?
They had the game in regulation but chose to go for the tie instead.I get where Andy and the chiefs are coming from. That was a crushing loss for them. I can see how they would feel that way and really if the situations were reversed many on this board would say the exact same thing.
In all candor, a coin toss should not be so important in deciding a game.
I do not think it has anything to do with the Patriots.
A crushing loss like that in front of your home fans with the #1 seed and as favorites leaves a bad taste in your mouth for a long time.
Don't remember Atlanta looking for a rule change after the Super Bowl.
I hope he drafts versatile players who fit his system, put team first and have the skill set that fits what we do.Ray Lewis, who killed two people, has been saying this all year on inside the nfl.
Ps: really hoping bb drafts defensive playmakers early in this draft.
not a good look for themAll respect for Chiefs has evaporated. I get all the hate for the Patriots, but how can anyone root for all these b1tch teams?
Here's my suggestion - each team gets the ball at the same time at the other team's 45 and both offenses and defenses are out at the same time it would be pure ****ing chaos and mayhem and it would be perfect. If you don't agree you suck **** by choice.
I can honestly say no I would not be *****ing about the rule. Down on my knees praying "hold them to a FG. Hold them to a FG. please, for the love of everything holy please only give up the FG" sure. If they did give up a TD then I would be pissed at BB and the D, the rule as is, is fair. Make one stop, just one, and your offense gets a chance to win. It's not the rule they want changed it's the outcome of the game. I hated it when it was sudden death drive 30-40 yards and end it on a FG. Having to drive 70-80 with an in your face TD is much better.I think a change in the OT rule is in order. If the coin flip went to KC we might have been *****ing.
Here’s one where everybody wins: No OT and Roger Goodell decides who win. Less snaps and safer.
