I REALLY REALLY hope the Pats doctors are given free reign to check Brown’s knees and will consider their opinions, even to the point of walking away. I’m worried that Vrabel looks at Brown with the same dreamy look he uses with Diana Russini.

I agree that the Pats should not trade any 1st for Brown. I am concerned now that Vrabel may be more willing to do that now as a way to change the affair discussion. Maybe Howie thinks so too?

The Eagles traded a 1st four years ago (?), and now he is older and has worse knees. And this is worth a 1st rounder now? I hope the Pats have better impulse control than some posters here. Roseman MUST get Brown off of his team. I’m sure he’d love to wait a year to get a 1st for a player...

The Commanders went to the NFC championship game in 2024, and they just picked in the top 10 in this draft. Brown is a luxury and the trade is fraught with danger. Juice is not worth the squeeze. Aging player with bad knees is not what we need.

How about neither? The Eagles have a problem. They can move him at a bargain for us, or they can keep him. We don’t need him.

Remember too that, like Gronk, Raridon missed much of his college career with injuries and is somewhat of a projection. There is only one Gronk, but Raridon has the potential to be Gronk-lite.
