Crazy how quickly a vibe can change from excitement to being bummed out.
This is the usual post-week 1 reaction in Jersey. Welcome to the club.

Least you didn't say race. Could picture a Jete pulling that.Billionaire vs Millionaire
We may never get there. It’s possible that he never plays a down. I honestly wouldn’t care nearly as much had they not traded Thomas to the freaking Jets, yesterday.Just get us through the year and whatever happens to him is his problem.
But only if he didnt do this.
When the actual statute is vague prior cases don't matter. The commissioner could easily say "the player is involved in a federally filed lawsuit that asserts a serious sexual crime which would be conduct detrimental to the league. Due to this unusual circumstance, we place him on the exempt list".
This is dumb. My post was in reference to possibly getting something in a trade for him. For that to happen he would have had to burn his bridges with 3 teams in the span of a few months and he has uncertainty. He's not yielding much trade value
We’re not in your sh!t club, JetsFan. On any level. My goodness. This is the usual post-week 1 reaction in Jersey. Welcome to the club.
Could be the same cabal of owners calling Goodell that pressured him into deflategate. They see another championship on the horizon for the Pats.We can win it without Brown barring injuries.I don't like the sounds of this. WTF does the league need to investigate regarding a civil suit? If it was a criminal charge, sure -- but a civil suit? I just hope Baddell isn't fishing for a way to keep Brown away from the Pats to help his Chiefs-to-Super Bowl agenda.
Not. Good.
New England Patriots receiver Antonio Brown has been accused of raping his former trainer, according to a federal lawsuit filed Tuesday in the Southern District of Florida.
The lawsuit says that Brown, in three separate incidents — two in June 2017 and another in May 2018 — sexually assaulted and forced himself on a woman named Britney Taylor, a gymnast whom he met while they were attending Central Michigan together and whom he later hired as a trainer.
With all of this distraction I doubt brown will suit up Sunday. We don’t need him against Miami but it would of been good practice for him to build chemistry with Brady.
Trading away DT with the idea that Brown would be playing didn’t help. We just lost 2 receiving weapons that could’ve potentially helped. It shouldn’t be that big of a deal, but losing both sucks.Could be the same cabal of owners calling Goodell that pressured him into deflategate. gee...what a coincidence, eh? and Goody is nowhere near anything associated with THIS imbroglio. Very odd.Trading away DT with the idea that Brown would be playing didn’t help. Zeke Elliot was never charged with a crime, and yet he was suspended for 6 games under the same “commissioner rules all” precedent set in the Brady case.

It's also nonsense. PR is a thing. Turns out a large number of people don't want to watch someone running around earning millions playing a game when that person has done something they consider heinous.
It's ridiculous to suggest that the league shouldn't care about public perception especially when it comes to violent/sexual assault crimes.
