According to ESPN Boston’s Mike Reiss, Patriots Center Bryan Stork is still dealing with a concussion and was not present at practice again on Tuesday raising the unlikelihood of him playing in the Thursday home opener against Pittsburgh.
This story comes just a day after NFL Insider Ian Rapoport reported Stork is in the NFL’s concussion protocol.
According to Reiss, rookie David Andrews and Ryan Wendell have taken snaps at center during practice this week.
After struggling early in 2014, Stork became a major contributor to the offensive turnaround as the season progressed, even starting at center during Super Bowl XLIX.
Starting center Bryan Stork (concussion) absent at Patriots practice for third day in a row. Puts status further in question for opener.
