NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION OT: Week 3 games around the league

Daniel Jones 140 rating in the first half and Giants up big…. didn’t see that coming

Jones does this every 5 games or so. Everyone thinks “Maybe he can do every week.” The next few games, he’s below average or worse and people believe he’s not the answer. Then he has a good game and the cycle repeats.

He’s going to be the best QB drafted this year and it won’t be close.

How can I get the other side of that wager? As in poker I’m all in!

I would just like to point out at this point that Daniel Jones has two more passing TDs today than the entire rookie class has this season thus far and Jones has two today.

It’s almost like there’s more ways to score TDs than passing the ball. Nix has two rushing TDs and has gotten his team into position to score more rushing TDs. All this **** about Rookie QBs not having passing TDs is just copium for how bad our squad is. You sound like a Colts fan who pointed out Manning would have more passing TDs than Brady despite NE leading the league in scoring.

Nix has two TDs for the season against four INTs. I know you like the guy, but I am not as high on the guy as you. I am not ready to anoint him as the best QB in this rookie class especially since McCarthy won't even play til next year and Maye hasn't played a meaningful snap yet.

That said, if the Bears don't teach Williams how to actually play football at the NFL level, he is going to bust quickly. He has a massive amount of talent, but this ain't the Big Ten. He cannot freelance like he has been doing thus far.

Not convinced Nix is an NFL QB. Bailey Zappe also had one good game so I guess he is Zappe? Yay.

Not convinced Nix is an NFL QB. Bailey Zappe also had one good game so I guess he is Zappe? Yay.

He was the sixth QB taken off the board for a reason. Doesn't mean he won't massively exceed expectations and become the best QB in this rookie class. But one good game doesn't mean he will.

Remember in 2021, some people thought Davis Mills was going to be the best QB of that draft class and a starter. Well, maybe he might be one of the best from that awful class, but he quickly became a back up after that year.
