I might be more afraid that the Krafts would hire JMD, Mayo or Vrabel to replace BB than if they decide to keep BB.
This team needs a new identity. We've been so stagnant with the same type of philosophy for so long.
I want new blood all around.
And this stupid idea that BB was the only one that knew how to coach, and scheme is stupid. Look at the NFL - there's so many different styles and philosophies and young coaches that are succeeding.

I still say Kraft needs to let him finish the year. No matter what Belichick might do, you gotta do the right thing and not embarrass the guy who got you six rings and countless more AFC championships and conference title appearances by firing him midseason. Kraft needs to do that for his legacy as well as Belichick's.

I think there is a lot of speculation of what Belichick might do, but no one knows. My guess is that he wants to leave and go somewhere with a much better situation and try to get the wins record and possibly another ring. If he stays here, he will stripped of his GM responsibilities and be looking at a complete rebuild that could take longer than he will be coaching (and he only one year left on his contract anyway). I think he wants to redeem himself by going out with at least a winning record, if not another ring. He isn't getting that here for one more year.
Im not sure of a full rebuild whatever that means, the defense is good and will better next year so we draft a good QB (key here) a couple of other good offensive players and sign some guys in free agency since they got money, they could turn it around pretty quick IF, they make the right choices.

Which GM or high profile HC/GM would you trust with this #1 or #2 pick overall?

I mean, he’s got zero talent at QB and the active receivers are backup level, at best, but yeah, let’s put all the blame on him.

And add to that a just awful Oline and this is what we get!

It's sad but the draft is our only hope at the end of the tunnel at this point. We're 2-10. The season is clearly lost.
The draft could help if we pick the right players but IMO almost the entire offense needs to be upgraded. That process could take some time.

Look at all the players on defense who are impactful who are either older or not under contract next year. And I am not so sure the defense is nearly as good as it has looked the last few weeks. I think it had a lot to do with who they were playing and weather conditions. The Pats have more players to build with on defense, but they are going to have to do a lot of rebuilding on that side of the ball too.

we'll never know but I suspect discussion about said topic will get the ire of a certain cadre of IBWT fools on Patsfans
I'm sure the usual cadre of Belichick defenders will come crawling out of the woods but their voices have become weaker and weaker as the Patriots record continues to plummet to rock bottom.

Deep down, they know the jig is up but they just can't help themselves.

For those of us who aren't blinded from drinking the Koolaid, at this point all you can do is give those delusional holdout BB fans their meds and tuck them into bed.

I mean we have absolutely no play makers on offensive, none. Stevenson can pound the ball yes, but otherwise except for him and Andrew's we need a whole new offensive. Some of these guys aren't even backup quality. But our defense is solid.

Ok Panthers are trash and not winning a game either so #2 is likely best hope

for everyone saying draft Drake may or Caleb Williams? who are these guys going to throw to? they have Schuster and Parker under contract, and I don't know about Bourne. the wide receiver free agent market isn't necessarily enticing either, unless you want to go with 76-year-old Mike evans
Draft is absolutely loaded at the WR position. Probably can land a #1 WR well into the second round.

Phew glad I didn't go that game. Shout out to the crowd for bringing it at times despite the numbers.

What are you saying Bill has sucked for 23 years? Or are the defenders just wanting to give him credit for those years he was on top of his game and winning. I know, I know it was all Tom, Bill was just lucky to be the guy holding the clipboard on the sideline. There's nothing wrong with giving him credit for the good work he's done and saying it's time for a new, younger fresh mind to take over.

Succeeding at what? Winning regular season games? A few playoff games? Andy Reid is winning. McVay's record is worse than Belichick's the last 2 years. Bruce Arians isn't coaching any more.
