No. Mac Jones would have thrown up a Pick SIX and we lose 13-0 instead of 6-0.

Either way - a job well done! But doesn’t that mean that Mac is twice as *good* as Zappe??!!

I'd like to see him play in better conditions with Douglas and Boutte active. Again, at this point, it's just about developing him and making an evaluation. If he's more solid after five more weeks, even better. But I agree, I certainly didn't think he was terrible, either. Sort of hoping he can at least become serviceable to buy them time to find somebody else.

Maybe, but if Bill is gone next year then not sure how much purpose there is. I suppose Bill is just trying to go with the guy who gives them the best chance to win, which at this point looks like Zappe over Mac, but at some point may be Malik.

I'm not a Mayfield guy ... haven't really thought about a veteran but he's not my favorite.

Who cares? You are a Zappe or Mac guy? We have 3 or 4 more wins with Mayfield.

I think you at this point you have to consider letting go of: Bill, BoB, Troy Brown and Klemm. Bring in someone new with his own guys and see wtf happens.

The Pats have a lot of cap room. Sign Mayfield as the bridge guy. Cut Mac and Zappe. Easy decision.

Probably depends on the offense they run to an extent but Baker is OK. Good enough for a year if they want to develop someone.

I know and I believed with BoB we were going to be competitive this year. It's sort of the best, worst case scenario at this point. We either get a franchise QB or a generational WR. If we draft a Tackle with a top 3, I'll tear up.

Knowing BB, he'll trade down and draft a Guard then declare himself a genius for not taking a QB in a "golden generation" of QBs draft. "See a lot of NFL teams see talent at QB, that's exactly why we're not gonna take one!"
