It is a fact that the contract was 2/32. Is it your argument that’s untrue? The contract said he would earn 32 million over 2 years. Surely thats what he got right? 32=32 Money!

So if the money equaled 32 why was 12 only in his pocket? Will you explain how 32 does not mean 32? I am using your logic here. The money is the money i thoughtIt is a fact that the contract was 2/32. Is it your argument that’s untrue?
50 million is 50 million. Its the entirety of the point, which you cant grasp. Two things arent equal if one is guaranteed and the other isnt. Your point the money matched is proven false. Otherwise, Revis wouldve received 32 mil, because that matches the number 32
Did the Pats take away his special holy water that he drinks every 20 minutes?
What did the bad men do to Tom?
32 million is 32 million. Thats why Revis made 1250 million is 50 million.
Please show me where I said the terms of the contract were the same.
You won’t find it because we do not know.
But let’s say the second year wasn’t guaranteed. So? Do you think the patriots were going to cut Tom Brady in 2020 and turn it over to Stidham? Brady would have had equal job security to a guarantee.
If Brady was afraid he couldn’t last 2 years, why shouldn’t the team be?
As much of a supporter I am to have any/all TB12 conversation in the sub thread, this particular story about MIA involved Tom while he was with NE.It's quite sad that the Pats are in day 6 or 7 of the training camp and the beehive of activity is in a thread regarding a division rival and a former player that may have spoken to them.
Guys, I thought Tom Brady threads were a no no on the main forum?
Hey dipsh*t..... you got even MAC10 agreeing with me that Brady did not tamper.Hey Idiot
What part of "tampering by clubs" do you not understand??NFL Restricted Free Agents are allowed to contact other teams to shop for a better contract ONLY during the LEGAL tampering period. WHY? Because the NFL Franchise controls their rights just like the Patriots controlled Bradys rights in August of 2019.
The RFAs are legally tampering dumb axx. Brady was illegally tampering.
What is the legal tampering window?
In 2013, the NFL wanted to crack down on pre-free agency tampering by clubs via the introduction of the legal tampering period —
Oh and just to pile on you a little more (which I normally wouldn't do but your personal insults deserve it), here is Florio:Hey Idiot
I'm a Bledsoe guyIt's truly embarrassing that the most exclusive Patriots forum has dozens & dozens of fans that do nothing but hate on the greatest player in team history. Man the f_ck up you butt hurt little girls.
Cassell would have led us to 4 more SBs. Tom underachieved with ONLY 3 moreI'm a Bledsoe guy
Hope this clears it up for you.
Contact by Player. If a club is contacted by a player (or his representative) who is under contract to or whose negotiating rights are held by another club, and such player has not been given permission to negotiate with other clubs, or such player is not in a permissible negotiating period under the terms of an operative collective bargaining agreement, then the contacted club is prohibited from (i) negotiating with the player or his agent; (ii) discussing even in general terms the player’s possible employment with the contacted club; or (iii) discussing the player’s contract or his potential or ongoing contract negotiations with his current club.
basically BRADY TAMPERED WITH MIAMII
The top 4 stories focused on tanking, where the focus should be. They all lamblasted Ross, praised Flores, criticized NFL for small punishment & regarding tampering, the focus was on "Miami tampers with Brady/Payton."
Patsfans translation: "Brady tampered with Miami. He sucks. He should be suspended."

This rule says nothing to the player, it's directed at the club. It explicitly says a player could contact a team and if they do, the team cannot engage with them unless the exceptions in blue are met.Hope this clears it up for you.

Since Brady left a very large portion of this forum has continually embarrassed themselves trying to find fault with everything the greatest player in franchise history has done. It is as pathetic as it is embarrassing. The top 4 stories focused on tanking, where the focus should be. Lol. That could be written about the bradytonians and the criticisms of the team they are supposedly fans of.Since Brady left a very large portion of this forum has continually embarrassed themselves trying to find fault with everything the greatest player in franchise history has done. The issue isn't that tampering occurred. It's the continued conversations, to the detriment of our team. Please quote me where I said “Brady tampered and should be suspended.” I am on record in this thread saying that he didn’t tamper, mainly because target players cannot be found guilty of tampering. The only problem I have is with the specific team he was in talks with, a division rival.
Broke no rules? No, technically he didn't. But it wasn't a one time event. It's dirty dealings he was complicit with. This rule says nothing to the player, it's directed at the club. It explicitly says a player could contact a team and if they do, the team cannot engage with them unless the exceptions in blue are met.
Not possible for a player to "tamper", that doesn't even make sense. Brady broke no rules.
I was tempted to mute Andy but watching him get his ass kicked again by @All3Phases is too entertaining. He's tried all his typical moves: deflect, backpeddling, ignore the argument being made, conflate, move goal posts, evade, lies, but the other dude is relentless and has him cornered like a frightened little mouse. LolThis Mute function is pretty great.
Well you don't have to worry much longer. This thread is dead now that NFL is appealing the Watson suspension. This story had a shelf life of 27 hours. As much of a supporter I am to have any/all TB12 conversation in the sub thread, this particular story about MIA involved Tom while he was with NE.
It's Ian's call if he wants to move it but imo it should stay in the main forum for a few more days - especially if Tom decides to make a statement.
