Back to night 1 - looks like the Jets had a great round. But hey, they're the Jets...every year I seem to say this about hteir first round, because every year, they've got very high draft capital!

Eagles took my binkie in Davis. High Ceiling, but also a Low Floor. 13 is high for him, but it was a chance worth taking.

Still, the winner on Day 1 didn't pick. The Colts have to be huge favorites in the AFCS this year.

Well, I had the Pats going interior DL in the first round and OL in the second. BB pulled the old switcheroo on me. Today I have interior DL 2nd round and LB 3rd round.

I like the 1st round pick, gents. The Patriots were top five in most blitzed last year. OL was a top priority. Glad see a 23-year-old with solid fundamentals in the house at a good price for the next five years in our new Strange hero. Cole Strange has played all three OL positions and reminds me of Logan Mankins. That worked out pretty well.

I'm staying positive. Three picks today with the ability to move around the board. Some good depth at LB, CB, Edge and WR still. We are going to need to trade up for that first wave of corners if we want one but I think we can probably get one of the LBs at 54.

Players I like for us and roughly where we might get them are as follows:

requires a trade up from 54: Kyler Gordon, Skyy Moore, Travis Jones, Boye Mafe, George Pickens.
54: Chad Muma, Troy Anderson, John Metchie, Josh Paschal, Leo Chenal
85: Cam Taylor-Britt, Jalyn Armour-Davis, Khalil Shaki, Marcus Jones, Tariq Woolen

I think I would stick at 54 and take one of the LBs, then try and trade up from 85 and get Metchie and hopefully one of the corners is available at 94.

He's totally worth having on the 90 man roster. I just hope the Patriots' success developing Shaq Mason plus having former Lenoir-Rhyne teammate Kyle Dugger on the roster is enough to convince Poe to join them as an UDFA.

Why would there be melt downs? Jones has unique size. If the Pats want a run stuffing nose tackle type he is really the only quality option. He’s not like a guard where there are multiple options.

I think poe is worth a 6/7th rd pick depending on how the board falls

I think this board is pretty pro Travis Jones. I think people are going to flip out when the Patriots move up in the second to pick an offensive tackle.

There's not a rule, though. Some posters just asked for no spoilers and that was mostly respected early on but as the broadcasts got more and more behind, it became unreasonable (IMO). I'm asking because I want to get a sense of the waters - do more posters want to be spoiler-free, or do more posters not care and welcome the info as it's available? Is it an even split? If it's fairly even, two threads would be a good solution. If the folks wanting no spoilers is a small minority, perhaps not.

I didn't get a lot of feedback yet, so maybe we'll just try it tonight and see how active each thread is to get that data. My hunch is that the no-spoilers thread will be less active but I could be super wrong.

I prefer spoilers, wtf is wrong with these whiney biatches?

Jones is another player from a non power conference, UConn plays a better schedule than UT Chattanooga, but not by much.

Why would that cause a meltdown? Jones is a frigging monster and would be JUST what this team needs. I wanted them to take him last night at #29.
