Cam says he's fine being a backup.
Belichick, McCarthy, Rivera, so far...all coaching teams that make sense for a willing veteran backup quarterback...none want to touch Cam with a 10-ft pole. How weird...you'd think signing an incredible, no-ego, high-character leader would be an easy call.
At what point will people just acknowledge the charade is over? Cam has always been a phony who has been constantly praised for ridiculous reasons by this forum.
Read between the lines here. Of course the Patriots would prefer to have someone of his skill level as the backup quarterback. Even if Cam's style is different, that was a known when they signed him twice. He is still much better overall than Hoyer. It would be a no-brainer to keep Cam as backup if he weren't a head case who will divide the locker room.
