I never had a problem with what Cam said about Drake or the Pats, especially a couple of weeks ago when he said. His view of the Patriots was a legit one around the country. And the schedule WAS easy.

It was SAS calling Maye a liar which was odious, mean spirited and egotistical. Cam's point at the time just was an option, just not one we would agree with.

I should not have failed to distinguish your evaluation of Cam from your evaluation of SA. The latter is a vicious demagogue and a preening blowhard. The former is what he looks like, a clown. If he had simply said, "Praise of Drake and of the Patriots ought to be somewhat tempered by the weakness of their schedule," or some other such adult comment, there would have been no problem. That he chose to go the bloviating clickbait route prevents me from sharing your equanimity over his remarks, but he is certainly harmless as compared to SA.

I understand, my friend. But what is ironic is that my guess is that we are probably on different sides of the same anger.

But whatever, we BOTH have the next 2+ months to enjoy this most surprising and enjoyable season. Kind of takes you back 25 years to 2001. And when I think about Trump following Putin's orders, or the rule of law being ignored I force myself to remember how well Maye kept HIS poise under Garrett's onslaught with a smile on his face and think I can't do less and enjoy the HELL out of this team with my fellow fans .

Thought id share this too, Richard Sherman hits the nail on the head here imo. I get people pausing a little on us because of the schedule but fools good is a bit strong. He was a GREAT teammate. That roster he led was a disgrace. They punted on the season to preserve cap space for the next year and just took their lumps with a ton of dead money. He was constantly propping guys up. Remember how bad NKeal Harry was - all Cam did was encourage him. Jakobi Meyers talked about how Cam behind the scenes was a huge factor in pushing him for his breakout that year. All he ever did was put on a good front and be encouraging for the team. 100% solid person and teammate while he was here. The disdain Pats fans have of him either comes from just not liking his personality/how he dresses or pure entitlement and being spoiled by what preceded him here.
