I stopped watching about 15 years ago, but I do watch certain clips online. Around the Horn was cool when it first came out as it got perspectives from reporters across major markets debating in real time. Pardon the Interruption was cool as well, but everything eventually runs it's course. The NFL putting 15 minute highlights of games on YouTube killed NFL Primetime with Chris Berman.

I had no idea either. I don't watch any of those shows so i'm not really the best person to ask which shows are popular and which aren't.

ESPN is seriously getting desperate, but they absolutely had to get rid of Molly Qerim. She was fine on the NFL Network as she stayed in her lane. But soon after she joined First Take, she was notorious of making the show about her. She would also constantly interrupt the conversation when a good debate is actually occurring. They recently hired some social media chick to do god knows what, but I've seen her in ads of her fantasy football picks. It's embarrassing. Sports media has seriously gone downhill and it's quite sad.

I'm dumb as a barrel of fish but I cant understand why this even needs to be said. Person is spewing hot takes..."Gee...I need to keep watching this". Never understood that. I literally had to google PTI (which I saw in an earlier post) ...I thought it was some cute millennial thing. And yeah...all you who watch the PTI...you don't get to *****.

NBC demanding the exclusive highlights window for their SNF pregame show killed NFL Primetime with Chris Berman - which sucks because you get far, far fewer highlights on the SNF pregame show than PrimeTime used to give.

They've been doing the same schtick for 15 years, someone always making some outlandish claim.

Max Kellerman didn't really believe Brady was washed up and would be a bum soon he said it cause that draws ratings and clicks, Skip and his endless schtick about how Lebron isn't good.

How do people with decades of time on internet discussion boards and social media let themselves become tools for boosting the very types of people they don't like?

Every outraged share is a net positive for the person who said the thing that was designed to piss you off.

I'll say this as apolitically as possible - we have a current President whose knack for trolling has given him untold billions in free coverage from media outlets catering to those who are most outraged by his comments. THAT is just how ensconced trolling culture has become in real life - it has resulted in our current President getting elected twice and outraged liberals have done more than anyone in boosting him.

Yet, here we are - 6 pages deep talking about a guy in SAS who has been doing this **** for longer than some of you have been alive.

He was very complimentary about Maye in his comments answering whether or not the AFC runs through the Pats (which I'm taking as are the Pats going to at least get to host and/or win the AFC champ game). How is he taking shots at him? Heck, I'm glad he said the fool's gold thing just so that the Pats can get that little bit of extra motivation.



Here's his doubling down. No shots taken at Maye except that he's not a known commodity in the playoffs versus Mahomes (Lamar is very questionable).



Does Cam have a valid point? Sure. Bills lost to Mills n Phins. No Godwin/Evans. People'd prob take Kermit over Maye. Blah blah blah. He basically flipped a coin and went with it (as the Pats currently have a 41% chance of making the AFC Champ game according to playoffstatus). Do I want the Pats to shut him the heck up and win the AFC? Heck yeah.
