Anyone else going to bring up that they just wasted a **** ton of money on Cam Newton and some other overpriced free agents, all of whom combined are unlikely to move the needle as much as bringing in their preferred quarterback?

So let's get this straight...Bill loved Jimmy G. so much it ultimately led a power struggle and unfixable rift leading to Brady's departure. Now that he has a chance to get Jimmy G., he's not willing to offer the required draft compensation and they can't afford him, despite having the most cap space in the league a month ago and planning to solve their quarterback problems (supposedly, according to Team Bill, moving on from Brady allowed them to hit the reset button.)

So in the end, all of the Jimmy G. drama and Brady's exodus so that the team could ultimately find their ultimate prize in Cam Newton.

Heard/read somewhere that either his agent or one of his main contacts is the guy who helped Carson Palmer force his way out of Cincy. Of course, losing a year of your career at age 40 probably isn't something Rodgers wants to do.

I will be watching Trey Lance's career. The level of competition he played is something I believe the niners over estimated. Fields was a better value at 3. Massive overreach in my opinion and this will be Trubisky, Mahomes and Watson's all over again.
