Welcome to the analysis only thread. No hot takes allowed in here. Plenty of other threads for that.

Please be civil. Feel free to critique the play or disagree, but please don't become personal or start attacking each other. This will cause the thread to get locked.

Also, this thread is not some sort of "exclusive club." Everyone is welcomed to participate, to post an analytical tweet that's relevant, or to post original analysis, or a clip from the game.

Above all, if you don't understand something, whether it be terminology or concept, etc. Please ask!

Even though only a 7 point victory, there were lots of good things to take away from this game.

Offense finally finding an identity and building on it
OL playing it's best game in a long time- healthy Shaq, and Wynn finally settling in.
Harry coming into form.

Tre'Davious White is a solid #1 lockdown corner who was rendered completely useless by Harry who bullied and outmuscled him to the point of making him so frustrated he lost composure. This is why we drafted Harry- because his unusual size/strength just neutralizes the speed/coverage advantage of any #1 corner in the NFL. It's not necessary to get separation when you can just outmuscle them.

Hopefully Brady will be throwing more jump balls.

A little heavy on the X and O's here, but lots of good information. Ask questions if necessary.

@PP2 any film on the failed 4th and 1?

Very concerned about both JMac and J. Jones for the playoffs. Groins can linger and really impact speed and change of direction. If we meet KC again, Jones' injury could be a huge disadvantage.

One thing I hope we see during the playoffs will be having JJ Williams matched on other team's receiving TE's.

Patrick Chung has been very solid against most TE's this season. IIRC his stats have been above average over the course of the season. However I was thinking that during the playoffs we will need the coverage on the Ravens' and KC's TE's to be not just above average, but "shut down" good.

Williams has a unique size and speed skill set that would fit well against those obstacles. He's also shown that he holds up against the run very well. I can only speak to his play in preseason. I know he got a lot of snaps in this game at CB, and I have no idea how he graded out, although I saw a comment that "he looked like he belonged".

I assume that Jones and JMac will be good to go in 3 weeks, which will likely put Williams back on the bench. Why waste a talent like Williams when there would be a situation where he can be used. I'm not looking for a positional change. Just a situational change.

What do you guys think
