No.

Some people can discern. And some cannot.

An Audi does not equal a Yugo.

Mike Reiss does not equal Tiny Mazz.

People can make choices.

Mike Reiss is pretty much the only good Pats journalist out there (and some say Curran too). Do we stick to posting articles by just them? If Brady ignored the Max Kellermans of this world, we wouldn't have lombardi #6. Don't you get it? This stuff is gold for this organization. As a Pats fan you should know that the team absolutely feeds off this stuff.

Pssst...... it's July 14th.

Nobody shivs a git.

Call the team when someone with a real soapbox disses Giselle on the Thursday before the Eagles game in November, ok? ;)

Then why does Brady post an instagram photo of him throwing the ball 61 MPH with the caption "He's going to fall off a cliff"? clearly Brady cares what the mediots think and that's great news for us.

The superstar club just went from 11 championships to five and hasn’t won since 2013.

NFL.com's job isn't to make informed articles it's to push the leagues' marketing direction. Brady already sells tons of merchandise, they don't need to push him they need to push everyone else.

And yeah - as much as well all love the guy he won't be in the league as long as most of the names on that list so this just makes sense.

NFL.com is a commercial.

Yep.

I wish they kept the comments on. I didn't post there or get into them, but sometimes the mixed base would at least give the writers some heat if they were off.

I may not have been paying attention but I do not recall Tom struggling with accuracy.
Maybe the during the Tennessee game which many speculated that he was playing hurt?
There are occasions when he strategically throws the ball away. Can someone fill me in?

The eye test said he was a bit off early in the season, but Gronk was hobbled and no Edelman. So his top targets were Dorset and Hogan. Both of them had trouble getting open. He should be a superstar just for the fact he was able to pull out a top offense with Gronk a shell of his dominant self for most of the year and that terrible receiver depth and only having Gordon for 11 games. Last year was the worst reciever depth since Reche Caldwell and that other guy whose name I can't remember.

Don't care but this article is poorly written.

Patriots receivers had the 4th worst seperation rate in football. Any more questions?

- Michel out to start the season and mid season
- Receivers had to run the ball contributing to a bad balance between running and passing
- Gronk was not the same obviously
- Edelman missed those first 4 games
- Gordon got acquired during the season and obviously left during the season again
- Hogan was not the same either
- Cooks gone
- Amendola gone

The deep ball wasn't there because of those factors. Also how many interceptions were off deflections? Must have been a handful.

I looked up the stats when Michel, Gordon and Edelman played

vs Colts, 341 yards 3 TD 2 INT
vs Chiefs, 340 yards, TD
vs Bears 277 yards, 3 TD, INT
vs Titans 254 yards
vs Vikings 311 yards, TD, INT
vs Jets 283 yards, 2 TD
vs Dolphins 358 yards, 3 TD

can we please remember that Brady only had those 3 together for a total of 7 games? If we know remember that Michel did injure himself early in the Bears game and did just come back from injury before the bye week and wasn't himself yet, we are talking about only 5 of 16 games of 100% Gordon, Edelman and Michel.

But above, in those 7 games Brady averaged over 310 yards passing per game while he had
13 TD
4 INT

Brady had to overcome a ton last year.

Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Blah! Blah! Blah!

With No Excuses, I believe TB was injured during Pats/Titans game last season, limiting his mobility and play throughout rest of reg.season but last two games vs jets* Bills it was his Comin' Out Party, looking more healed and confident as well. Not that he didn't have an off season by any standards but mediots* haters* jumped all over it making their own 'narrative' on his decline.
We ALL saw how that played out.

Yup! Its easy to paint a pic being lazy and not researching facts and just throw out a false narrative without stating different key players in/out of lineup, new Off. game plans
player roles ( see Patterson as a RB) from week to week changing faster like a Model on a runway.

That doesn't mean that it has to be re-posted here.

Posting crap links like that on this site is the reason that I don't click on any links posted here unless I'm sure they're not click-bait from some Jete fan.

You know, maybe all the conspiracy theorist fans of other teams are right. Maybe the NFL IS trying to rig it so the Patriots win...

Look, there is no forum rule that re-posting these articles are forbidden. If you don’t like it, feel free to ignore the thread.

It's just my opinion. Sorry if it offended you in any way.

I don't ignore threads but I do ignore click-bait.

Look, I don’t read 70% of the threads on this board, either because I feel the topic is dumb or because they are outside of my area of expertise. I read 30% of the threads and participate in maybe 20%. Not every thread is going to be to everyone’s liking. You just have to mentally filter them out. Hard for me (or any poster) to know ahead of time the percentage of people who will like a certain thread topic.

Hahahaha. That is all. Didn't even bother to read the article.

I read almost all threads with interest especially the technical football threads here and on the Draft forum. It's an education and furthers my appreciation of the game and overall intelligence of the posters here. For myself, I can suggest the Casual Chat Thread because the less you know the better poster you are revealed to be (grateful for all entertainment reviews, non sequiturs and double entendres).
