NFL.Com: Brady no longer a superstar (JULY article)

Andrew Luck continues to be one of the most overrated QB's of all time. Shrinks worse than Manning did in big spots and has a career playoff QB rating of 73.4. Was absolutely putrid against the Chiefs this year. He is a solid fantasy player though because when the Colts are down big he will give you a ton of yards and TD's in losing efforts if that is your thing.

Where do they find these people?

Perhaps someone should brief this jackass on Tom's PFF numbers which show his downfield passing wasn't even close to being a weak part of his game but a strength.

Hey, whatever fires up TB12 for 2019...Dan Hanzus may be this year’s Max Kellerman.

Brady did struggle in the passing game at times last year, but that’s because of lack of quality receivers and an unhealthy Gronk. He did just fine late in the season and playoffs.

Pats scored over 90 points and had over 900 yards in the air in the playoffs. Yet because they ran the ball in when down close the stats show that Brady "struggled". It's a great narrative for the uninformed and those who want to evaluate performance from a box score.

He's a Jete fan. That is all.

Defending SB champ. The only thing that has ever mattered in the football world.

6 rings. That’s more than the top ten combined. I’m not counting Wentz because he didn’t play when the Eagles won.

Didja know Mahomes can throw a football out of Arrowhead?? Big news in KC... wonder how that will translate in a big game??
Intentional grounding? Making sure the pass can’t be picked?

Seems like most scouting and analysis in football is where baseball was before moneyball. It’s just guys BSing about what they think they see.

NFL.com puts out an article a few days ago proclaiming TB is the GOAT. A few days later NFL.com puts out an article that states he's no longer a superstar...he's out. That ain't analytics or eye test, it's marketing in the off season.

Yeah, I get the clickbait aspect of it. But it does seem like the vast majority of commentary is guys saying (use dumb meathead voice) “yeah I just really see blah blah blah”

Well, yeah, that's how these things are constructed in the meetings before they write 'em. You don't think each author just worked on these articles on their own, doing research etc.? It's all managed for your entertainment.

Skip mini camp
Lose superstar status
Dam him

Wtf, so reminiscent of Pete Prisco's "Indianapolis will beat the Patriots because they have more "stars" "

The guy has a picture of Sam Darnold on the top of his twitter page.

There are plenty of superstars......but there can be only one GOAT......fact is, he’s in a class by himself and has reached a stage that mediots can’t identify with.

And all they manage to do is feed him

They put brees on there despite him probably declining more than Brady down the stretch.

TB12 has losing records against Drew, Cam, and Russell. I believe he is 3-7 against those 3. That's all I got.

I think he’s 2-2 against Brees now? He won the last two, in 2013 and 2017.

It's the Nex-Gen group of media morons we have to endure. I can picture this shythead sitting around with uber-dweeb know-it-alls like Reimer sticking their right thumbs up their azzes trying to make their ears pop while their left hands pinch their noses closed. It's just what sports media has become, a Wimp-A-Palooza dotted with skinny necked clowns who couldn't make a girls field hockey team opining on world class athletes they couldn't possibly EVER comprehend on any physical or mental level.

If this was the right take, then Christian "Meathead" Fauria would be the ultimate media member, and he sucks too.
