I mean, I can buy a player being in the bag and getting loot with anonymous bets. But not really a top-down conspiracy to fix the product on the field. There’s no way they could keep that a secret. Someone would chirp.

Not so sure about the last part. Plenty of people try to expose things but are villified/discredited or end up dead. It’s a multi billion dollar enterprise. Who is in it and not is unkown. I’ve often thought about why no one has said anything and it may be a few select that have the most impact on a game. Coaches, QBs and Officials. Takes the pool down into a much smaller sample size.

Who knows really but its something to watch for regardless imo.

Not a fan of either team. Just found it funny that LA shot an unheard of 27 free throws in the 4th quarter. Btw a convicted referee Donaghy claimed he was ordered to make sure of the outcome. Nba denied it ofcourse.

Phil Jackson also went Zen Master on the refs during that series as he was complaining that the Kings were getting away with Shaq getting hacked...which he was. People want to complain that the series was “fixed” but nobody admits how much teams would abuse Shaq in the paint through out his career.
