Thats what i had thought, but Check the chiefs lose thread. someone ran a playoff calculation with us, Houston, and sd finishing 12-4( this only applies if sd wins the afc west, if the chiefs win were good because of head to head over both). And apparently there is a funky tiebreaker that could see Houston 1, sd 2, and us finishing 3. Im still trying to figure it out myself, but its apparently possible we can win out and still not get the bye. The safest thing is to hope Houston loses 1 more, and philly is no guarantee by any means.

The point is, the texans losing helps us in case we drop another game. I never got into or mentioned which games the texans are more likely to lose. I'm rooting on them to lose every game until we have the bye secured. I don't get what's so hard to understand about that. You are arguing something that nobody is arguing and I'm unsure what your point even is. The texans are more likely to lose against the eagles? Okay? What's your point? That because of that we shouldn't root for them to lose today? I don't get that logic.

I get that but I asked why we need them to lose today when they are playing in Philly next week. Don't worry about it though, it was rhetorical. Of course we don't need em to lose today.
