If the Ravens can Harbaugh

Not enough bad football things can happen to Sir Whine-a-lot but I have a feeling if they can him he's the next HC of the NYJ. I didn't think there was a way I could like him less but this would be it. Reasons why....

1. There's always been a Ravens/Jets pipeline. Rex, Bart Scott....
2. Harbaugh is arrogant enough, like Rex, to think he'll come in and take over the division.
3. The Jets love PR moves that also tweak the Patriots.
4. Harbaugh would inherit a young QB with some promise.

I hope I'm wrong and he goes to the NFC only because I hate listening to his smarmy answers on everything. Last year when he was on the SB broadcast you would have thought he had a perfect record vs the Patriots not the 3-6 (including playoffs) that it is. And they only won one of those games because the replacement refs missed about a dozen calls.

Joe and Evan on WFAN here today in NY were totally salivating over the possibility of Harbaugh coaching the Jets.

But when you’re in the Jets desert, sometimes all you have to hope for is a mirage.

Hiring a coach and having him bring a player isn’t exactly “always a connection”

Why would the patriots care? Belichick is the one who recommended harbaugh to the ravens.

Harbs and Flacks perhaps need a divorce after so many years together. So, I supp0se one will go, or maybe both. With Lamar Jackson and Josh McDaniels their replacement. But you never know, tho, Harbs-Flacks may still get it together this season.

Point No. 4 is debatable. Regardless, whatever coach the Jete have won't matter much under current ownership/management.

he's getting toasted in Bmore right now by Ratbird fans. He went to Bmore, a team though old, had a solid D and a new young QB. Jets have a new young QB, but not much else. His crybaby act won't go over real well in NY, unless he just whines about the Pats.

I think he would want to go to Cleveland, a solid defense, a good young QB and RB, lots of draft picks and a huge upside with some decent coaching.. And he could stay in the division and stick it to the Ravens twice a year......

Is he? Or did he shine when he had three sure HOF talents (Lewis, Reed, Suggs), another who is debatable (Ngata) and a bunch of other players who were pro bowl talent. Since having top 5 talent in the league he's been pretty mediocre.

If he gets fired I think he'd end up in Green Bay. Green Bay will look for a proven HC A rookie HC and the ego of Rodgers is a recipe for disaster.
