Patriots / Brady Discussion

After seeing how quickly you can go from 4 RBs to only one healthy RB I am not a fan of IRing Gill just to make space for MM. Unless of course the knee injury is serious but then there is no real question about it anyway.

I like how Gill looked on that screen he caught against the Bills. Adds a little bit of dimension to his game if he can be also used for screens (if they start to consistently succeed).

Currently there are no RBs on the practice squad, so you have a point.

I'm embarrassed to say I have not heard of any of those artists.

I'm a millenial (barely) that grew up listening to 90's rap and i have no idea who any of them are either lol

I want Brady's Achilles healthy everything else is gravy.

His fall off in performance lately is due to the AT IMO.

we do need Hogan, but the array of backs we have is huge too.

You are right but we only see one of Lewis, Burkhead or white on the field at one time whereas we could see three four or even 5 wr sets. I just think Hogan is an upgrade over Dorset and even amendola in some situations. It would be nice if they had tried white in the slot this year and see how it went.

Id rather have the reason for the problem the offense is having fixed which is the mass amount of injuries around Brady than hear any more excuses about how his inconsequential injuries are the reason for any issue.

The funny thing is Brady has never made excuses for his performances unlike most other Qbs, like the rapist. Can’t wait to see how a healthier wr core would look like with Hogan and Mitchell if he comes back.

I'm 46. I think my first rap tape was Run DMC and the only reason I bough it was Aerosmith was on it.

I have nothing against rap/hip-hop. Kinda like it but I don't keep up with music much.

I'm 34, I don't listen to rap or hip-hop anymore but I loved a lot of the stuff in the 90s.. much like all generations, I view the newer stuff as trash compared to what I listened to lol

I used to hate country music, but I find myself enjoying some of that now too so my tastes have definitely changed/evolved over the years

Music being largely crap today isn't really a generational opinion, though, which seems to set it apart from earlier eras. Starting in the '90's, music got too caught up in technology and showmanship, to the detriment of the actual music, and that's not a take that's held only by the old fogies. And it's getting worse, not better.

So trash the music of the last couple of decades, and feel good about it!

Grunge and metal for me.

My friend got me into metal while we were gym buddies, it all depends on what mood I'm in when it comes to that genre of music

I grew up on traditional & thrash metal. Metallica or Motorhead is comfort music. Some call it commercial metal but i don't give a ****. Stuff like Black Metal or Death Metal I'm not all that in to.

Motley Crue is not heavy metal. I put them in the glam rock/glam hard rock category.

Ignoring all the background, (it's an invented grade on a 0-100 scale), yeah. These are the Pats best by this metric. Any stat can be argued of course.

Especially PFF.

Gilmore had a weird year. He was lost his first few weeks, then total shut-down for 2 months then gave up some weak receptions late in the year.

Even though he didn't have the sack totals, Flowers was excellent this year. Brown really came on after his injury. Harmon was very good. Chung came on after the CAR game.

I'd like to see a summary of what injuries Brady had during playoff losses, especially years ago. I think one year he had the flu and another a broken rib? Can't remember. He never said anything about them but after the loss some anonymous source would bring it up.

Haters say he's soft and 'no way could he play in the 70s when you could hit a QB', things like that, but IMO his toughness is incredibly underrated because, as you say, he doesn't make a big production out of it like Big Ben.

I’d rather acknowledge it was one bad game.
