Eye Doctors Warn of Harms of High-Powered Green Lasers
The ophthalmologists quoted in the article might beg to differ re green lasers..
yeah... There's a slight difference between aiming purposely on your eye at close distance, than aiming across the stadium on a moving target.

I've received this on the eye while playing. It's a bother, but you really dont notice unless they get it precisely right. and it happens in less than a milisecond. This has also been happening in international soccer matches for over 20 years and there was never a report of anybody getting blind

Brady's retinas won't be affected, dont worry lol

Man, I look at that 4-5 Raiders team and wonder what is going on up there. They have a great looking offense, but.. they're 22nd in ppg behind the 49ers. They turn the ball over a ton (-7), and they suck on 3rd down. That defense is last in the league in sacks, meaning Brady will have all day to pick their less than stellar secondary apart.

The Raiders barely beat the Dolphins in that game where Jay Cutler couldn't get off the field fast enough to light up a Marlboro. Well, they are coming off a bye, so the Raiders will have Brady and McDaniels all figured out, so I expect a complete grinder, like 19-14 Patriots. Or a blowout.

Not every Team comes off a Bye-week sharp and the Raiders had a lot of problems going in the bye that is. A BB/Brady lead Team is not who you want to face off the bat, especially when your trying to correct issues. Raiders = work in progress.

I've been saying Oakland will regress all year tbh.
The perception never matched reality with them and most people only watch their team and sportscenter.

The Raiders and Carr have been a conservative downhill run heavy, offense that took calculated, safe shots down field with some spread concepts.

With a new OC they switched to a zone/gap running game. The offensive line hasn't been as great as last year but its the lack of attempts, slight drop off 4.4>4.3, more negative plays and predictability.

Also Carr is throwing near the bottom of the league per attempt. He's struggling without play action.

Their defense can't get to the QB, int the ball or get off the field on 3rd down.

I'm expecting heavy zone since they do have man beaters in Crabtree and Cooper & co, even if Coop if having a tough year. Keep them in front of you, double Crabtree.

Cooks should feast but I think we see a game plan similar to last week bc Oakland no one and can't cover our TE's and RB's.

Is Hogan in Colorado running around with the receivers?

Why would you think that? Was there an update to his status? Did someone report something new today?

Last we heard, he was in a sling. I had just assumed that he didn’t even make the trip when they left last Friday. According to Doc Flynn, he has the potential to miss the game after Thanksgiving too, when they return back home. All depends on the severity and how he’s recovering, but I doubt they’d feel any need to rush it. He’ll be needed from mid-December, forward.

Bet the house on the New England Running backs catching out of the backfield and running right by those slow linebackers.

Safetyglass Face screen on the qb helmet with a reflective coating in the laser pointer frequency (band). Might give a slight color misperception, but as long as doesn't fog up . . .all good.

You essentially have to put this on all players. If the lasers dont go after the QB they will go after CBs, WRs or OL. In many instances it is enough if a laser distracts a player at the snap to affect plays.

Given that this is also a team bonding trip they might actually have Hogan with them. Usually they keep injured players at home so they can keep getting treatment but since they moved their entire operation including the practice squad with them (to have a scout team to prep for the Raiders)... who knows.

Reiss claimed that he didn’t believe that any of Hogan, Brown, or Cannon had traveled with the team, but that he couldn’t say for sure. Hopefully, someone will hear something but Reiss said that “he’s not holding his breath” in regards to any of them traveling out west.

Add Dr.Chao to the mix who says that Hogan is still weeks away based on the info re: the sling as of last week. Just hoping to get him back healthy for the Steelers game/playoff run, although we’re likely to have him back a couple of games before then.

Not feeling comfortable with Dorsett in his absence, although I’m sure they’ll be fine by spreading the ball around more.

It makes most sense that those three were left behind in Foxboro since this is the usual protocol. That being said I assume that the team must have taken most of the training staff to stay in Colorado with them as well to have them available for the rest of the team + practice squad.

So who knows what exactly is going on with Hogan, Brown and Cannon. Most probably they are in an otherwise almost empty Foxboro..

At least Brown seemed to have traveled with the team (or made the trip to Colorado since then).

This just occurred to me. Did the Pats take their practice squad out to Denver to help with the practices? If they didn't it will be hard to get good looks in practice

Also no one thought that Hogan would be ready for this game. Did they take Hogan with them to Denver?

They took PS.

Hogan being reported as absent from practice, makes me believe he did travel with the team, or else why even mention his name as being absent? That's at least how I read these participation tweets.

I dunno. They continued to list Hightower as being absent long after everyone knew that he was out for the year.

I understand your point, but they are not at Gillette.... they are all the way out in Colorado.... if Hogey didn't travel with the team, why even mention he's absent... it would be a given....
